It’s fine. I prefer larger but couldn’t find.I used a 4.5 gal ceramic for over 20 years till it cracked. I didn’t like the plastic spout and bought recommended metal spout extra cost.I also used plumber tape on spout threads prior to placing washers onto I also held washer that screws on inside while turning the spout clockwise till hand tightened. It’s really important to do this. I have no leaks or drips. It’s really important for perfection and performance.

I also used plumber tape on spout threads prior to placing washers onto I also held washer that screws on inside while turning the spout clockwise till hand tightened. It’s really important to do this. I have no leaks or drips. It’s really important for perfection and performance.

I use it as a water dipenser. It's incredibly sturdy and it does hold 3 gallons......the only thing that needs to be improved is the lid.....it doesn't close properly and spills a little if it's full and we move it but other than that it's a great product and so beautiful.
