I have been looking for ideas for my kids' birthday parties and stumbled into this molds. Ordered it and tried to make some ice cubes from these molds.
Impressed with the quality of the molds, made from incredibly flexible material. I have tried it on ice cubes with no problems, ice cubes removed easily because of the flexibility of the mold, haven't had a chance to try it for chocolates and I don't see a problem with it for chocolates.
Would recommend this for parties !

Bought this product not know what to expect, but it has lived up to my expectation. Material is really good and very moldable. Wanted to try it right away so made some ice cubes on it and they came out great, even though the picture I posted is not showing as nice as they came out. Ice cubes were very easy to pop out of the mold. Definitely worth the money I paid for them :)

I love this. I'm actually using them as ice cube trays, not candy molds. The yellow blocks are difficult to move when it's filled with water, and the blue lego tray makes some small cubes, but overall, these are making me pretty happy.

Pros:
Awesome shapes
No smell
Ice pops out easily - even if half the tray is barely set you can still pop out the frozen ones without disturbing the half-frozen cubes
The big red cube fits into a cup rather well
The yellow cubes are pretty perfect - nice size

Cons:
The blue and red guys are small (the big red cube is pretty big, obviously)
Floppy - difficult to transport after filling

I received this set of molds as a review sample and have only used them for making chocolate Lego blocks thus far. In that role they worked far better than I expected,

One of the things that I like is the definition of the form and shape. Plus, if you refrigerate chocolate you can easily build a wall of confection. I did try out the large figure as ice and quickly came to the conclusion that you need to add food coloring to see what they shape actually is after it freezes. That little experiment was uninspiring to me, but I did like how easy it is to remove ice (and chocolate) from the molds after whatever ingredients you use set.

While they can be washed in a dishwasher I recommend hand washing them. A quick dunk in hot, soapy water, a rinse and air drying will keep them in shape. I'll not recite the ample product specs on this page, but can attest that they are accurate, including the fact that they are sufficiently inert and neutral as to not impart any odor or tastes to ingredients.

Bottom line: they are fun, easy to work with and as long as you are not using clear ingredients the shapes come out with excellent definition and are plain fun to serve.

For the Lego enthusiast in your life, these molds are a real treat. Use them for candy or Jello or chocolate, or what I did: ice.

With these three molds, we can make one big Lego man, four small Lego men, eight, smaller Lego men, and ten Lego bricks. The ice bricks excited my son until he realized ice bricks don't snap together. Maybe if I had more brick molds, I could stack them in the freezer and they would make indentations on the back of each ice brick, so the ice bricks would fit together like Lego bricks do.

The ice comes out of the molds so easily. They don't get stuck like they might out of other traditional molds. We just push to pop them out.

I can imagine these molds would come in especially handy for a Lego themed birthday party, and they would also make great stocking stuffers.

We are a Lego family and knew that this provide some fun and tasty treats. My two kids ripped open the packages and even helped clean the molds to prepare! I had a bag of chocolate chips on hand (you could use better chocolate - but we were impatient to see how everything worked) and melted the chocolate in the microwave and used the yellow block mold and the blue mini figure mold. After letting the molds set for a little bit in the fridge we had an army of mini figures and 10 Lego blocks. My kids were thrilled! We cleaned the chocolate off and made ice cubes. After that we had an army of ice mini figures and one giant mini figure. It was an epic battle between ice and chocolate. Love these molds!! Can't wait to experiment and try different things in the molds - the kids (old and young) will have fun.

I like that these are sturdy..they are thicker so they have a bit of structure that doesn't make them cave when you are trying to move it. I make gummies using these molds so that definitely helps. I am sad to report they do not pass the 'pinch' test though
