There are many cute ideas here but organizing the material around 12 themes ( e.g. golf) is very limiting. If you're going to use this approach a chapter on basics would have helped as would chapters devoted to specific party elements such as party favors. The 12 themes seemed to be geared for very young children. I guess I was looking for more of a resource book than directions for planning 12 specific parties. But the photography is great and the overall focus on "stylish" is carried out well.

This book is filled with great ideas for kids parties. The photos are great and I like how each party is divided into a DIY project and includes supply lists for each project. Then, at the end of the book are 20 pages of templates that you can use for each of the parties, which are very helpful. Also, I appreciate that this book has parties for both genders and/or gender neutral. Having a boy it is sometimes difficult to find good ideas for boy parties that are not babyish and the ideas in this book are great. Easy to go through and easy to use!
