Cameron Harrison Allen, J.D., retired as a law librarian at Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, N.J., and was a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists since 1962.
In addition to researching and publishing articles on the Chastains, Soblets, and other Huguenot families over four decades, he was a contributing editor to The American Genealogist and a popular lecturer at genealogy conferences.
Born on February 7, 1928, in Springfield, Ohio, Cameron H. Allen died on January 23, 2017, in Palm Springs, California.
