Format: Paperback
Meticulously researched and compiled in an unprecedented narrative style, "Success" is a work of sheer inspiration. Within 150 pages, Ms. Kent has gathered 1001 quotes from such undeniable success 'masters' as Carl Jung, Eddie Murphy, Kirstie Alley and Isaac Newton. With chapter sections covering Imagining, Goals, Attitude, Enthusiasm and Courage, this book is a virtual "How-To" for anyone struggling to turn their most cherished dreams into reality.

What I cannot get over is the genius with which Ms. Kent has woven these 1001 quotes together! They flow seamlessly, as if from a single narrator, and they speak to the reader in a single guiding voice. And yet, each line is a direct quote from one of the greats, a directive to step away from unhappiness and embrace change, in order to live a more rewarding life. Also, "Success" is not merely a guidebook toward material fulfillment. On the contrary, Ms. Kent challenges the reader to first redefine success, before embarking on a journey to reach it. For success, as Ms. Kent knows, lies not in the destination, but rather, in the journey.

Truly well done! A must-read for anyone struggling to let go of the anchors that keep us from reaching our potential.

Personally, I love quotes - they are snippets of wisdom that can inspire me for a moment or for a day or for a task. So when I read Barbara Kent's book I was delighted. She surprised me in her approach. The entire book is essentially a list of quotes but she has entwined them into prose in a way that is unique and delightful. I especially like the fact that she didn't interrupt the flow by putting sources after each one but simply reference numbers so I could look up the author in the back if I wanted to pursue it. But the beauty of her work shines in that she was able to see the flow of the wisdom from so many people and present it as one united message. I think you will be delighted as well. The universal truths that exist in our world really do link together into a single message. Barbara Kent has captured it beautifully. This would make a lovely gift book as well. Enjoy the words of the masters in the work of Barbara Kent!

This incredible book is comprised of 1,001 famous quotes linked together most creatively to form a series of inspirational paragraphs and chapters. Success In the Words of the Masters has been my Bible; it reminds me that every challenge offers something positive. The power of positive thinking and its results are most important for one's entire being.

Success in the Words of the Masters consists of encouragement in each quote that date back to the beginning of time. Chapters such as "Faith", "Mistakes", "Persistence", "Achievement" and many more are overwhelmingly insightful. Some quotes are from Oprah, John F. Kennedy, Tony Robbins, Ellen Degeneres, Freud, Einstein, Michael Bloomberg, Willie Nelson, Deepak Chopra, Arnold Palmer and many more well-known "Masters".

Barbara Kent's labor of love is a masterpiece that belongs in every home. The book reminds us all of how thankful we should be, regardless of what life brings.
