I'll be honest - I opened this book expecting to skim it and maybe pick up a couple tips. I'm an engineer, not a realtor or a salesperson - I didn't think I'd need this book. But somewhere around chapter 4 where the author introduces his CAPITAL method, I got hooked and found myself returning to the beginning to read it cover to cover. What I found was one of the most actionable and relevant books I've ever read. Relationships are important for everyone, in any industry and in any role, and this book makes the case in convincing fashion. The book does not preach, and the author insists that the chapters are simply "ingredients" for the reader to put together based on what's relevant to them. The stories are compelling and counterintuitive. One of my favorites: the college freshman who somehow finds a way to introduce an NFL running back to NBA legend Michael Jordan, despite not having any prior relationship. The lesson there: when building a relationship, you can find a way to add value to literally anyone, even those who seemingly have it all. I highly recommend this book and plan to return to it frequently as my career progresses.

Reading this book was an incredible experience of pulling all of the different pieces of advice and thought process around working a CRM to create business relationships! I would highly recommend this book to any sales associate or anyone for that matter! Create happiness by working with people who know you, like you and trust you!

Working in sales can be tremendously rewarding and daunting at the same time. The need to service your existing clients, book new deals, and find new leads can be overwhelming. Zvi provides concrete examples of how to manage your time, how to lean on your contacts for more business, and provides personal examples of follow up strategies that make you stand out from the rest of the pack.

I implemented what I am calling the "basketball follow up" last week, and it was incredible well received. If you are looking for tangible actions you can take to increase your business, this is the book for you.

It is becoming more and more difficult to differentiate your product or service from your competitors based on content or physical appearance/attributes. If you are going to win and keep clients/customers, you need some way to distinguish your company from your competitor. The quickest and easiest way is by leveraging the power of relationships.

The book is based largely on his personal journey but he also shares the success stories of many other companies which have used the same process to build their business.

The book is easy to read, straightforward and gives valuable, actionable steps to help the reader implement the ideas shared in this book.

The author created a consulting company and software to help businesses develop, maintain and strengthen relationships. He frequently cites how valuable this has been to him and his clients.

Well written, well organized, with plenty of real world examples.

Success Is in Your Sphere presents a no-fail way to develop positive, fruitful professional relationships. Through his direct, breezy style, Zvi breaks down the abstract concept of what defines a beneficial relationship into its key components and gives practical steps for each. As an introvert, I appreciated the simple and repeatable advice that would help me get over my initial hesitancy to reach out. I've already applied some of the concepts (particularly on timely engagement) to produce new contacts I otherwise wouldn't have engaged.

A great read for anyone who depends on relationships to build their career (which is increasingly all of us).

I've built my career in sales around the simple philosophy that building relationships, solving problems and having fun is what it's all about. This book by Zvi Band is the perfect outline on how to do the first part - building relationships - and much of the strategy and tactics he shares through examples or anecdotes throughout the book show how you can easily "solve problems" along the way. The great part about the way Zvi writes, it's you can tell that he is "having fun" sharing these ideas and stories with the readers because he knows they are going to work.

Pick up a copy of Success is in Your Sphere and follow the ideas, instructions, and inspiration inside and you're sure to have more success earning the trust needed from your sphere of influence to close more deals and capture more referrals.

Reading Zvi's story of an introvert acquiring success from from relationships and building a whole system around it made me feel less alone. As an introvert myself, it gave me the confidence to start my journey in relationship building and networking with a step by step game plan as well! Great read, definitely coming back to it in every once in a while to review.

Zvi did a fabulous job of outlining strategies to build, maintain, and solicit value from your network. I really appreciated how he broke things down so that networking won't take over your entire life - it's a means to an end, not an end in itself. I highly recommend this book - one of the best I read this year!

Even if you are already actively investing in your personal and professional relationships to grow your business, you will extract a ton of value from this fantastic book on the subject. It’s packed with a ton of very practical tips, tools and resources to enable you to build and maintain strong relationships in an efficient, yet personalized way that seeks to provide value at every touch. Zvi also continually identifies the barriers (mental and contextual) that may get in your way, providing practical advice and tools on how to identify and overcome them. Zvi’s humble and accessible voice, combined with a diverse array of stories from his own experience and a curated group of experts in this space, make this book as engaging as it is informative. I’d highly recommend this book no matter what industry you’re in – as, fundamentally, we’re all people working with people.

A good family member had nudged me to check it out and I see why! I've read a bunch of the standard 'what to read for entrepreneur' books over the years but I truly believe this one has taken a much more modern approach, making the information way more useful and practical then others. The mindset / lessons taught here on how technology is only as helpful as the relationships we build and connect around it is impactful, to say the least!
