This is a great flexible case for the OnePlus 8 Pro. The design is almost perfect. The fitment is spot on. The raised edges protect the display on the front while allowing full usage of the display. One of the reasons I got a case is that I kept accidentally touching the edges of the curved display, this fixed that issue.
Where this case really shines is the camera protection. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a huge camera bump. Every time I would set down the phone, I was worried I would scratch the camera lens. It was also annoying when I would try to use the phone when it was on a table. It would rock back and forth because of the camera bump.
Not anymore. The rear design of the case makes the back of the phone essentially flat and places a slightly raised ring around the camera bump to ensure the phone doesn't rest on the lens.
Now for the downside... And this can be a big downside if you are a heavy user of this phone feature. I'm talking about the alert slider. Unfortunately, the edges of the case are a bit thicker than a normal case due to the curved screen of the phone. As such, the slider is quite difficult to get to. I'm fact, I must peel back the case to use the slider as I cannot use it when the case is on. This is extremely frustrating. I'll probably end up making a wider cutout with an exact knife or dremel to fix this.
On a lesser note, the thickness of the case on the sides also make depressing the power or volume keys much more difficult than expected. This isn't as big of a deal as they can still be used though.
Overall, it's a great case and protects the phone well. I like it enough to keep it despite the slider button drawback. But if you're a heavy user of the alert slider, beware. This case may not be the best option.
