Here's the deal: This book was well written, the characters were great, the story was enjoyable. If that is all you care about, buy it, read it, love it.
My qualms with it are that it is predictable. You know what the conflict is going to be long before it happens. Additionally, the love story really didn't sizzle for me. I suppose that could have been a result of the "sweet" theme.
I wanted more and not in a positive way.
There are many ups and downs and surprises on her way to fulfillment. I found the characters interesting and well fleshed out.
I wish this book was much, much longer. Part II?
