I just received this armband for my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and am sending it right back. It is sized wrong for the Skyrocket. The phone sticks out of the top of the case and the case covers too much of the screen and navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen. This armband is not designed well for the Skyrocket. There is also no way to secure the phone inside the case. I run with my phone and am afraid it would slip out as I'm running.

I bought this to go with my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. I ,mainly got it because it was cheap and for the price this armband is a recent buy. It fit my phone well so that I never feared it falling out. However, the headphones hole did not line up so I had to make a cut to make it work. Also it is a very small armband. I don't consider my arms large by any means it this barely fits around my bicep. I've used it about 10 times at the gym now doing all kinds of workouts and it seems to hold up for now. For a cheap price it seems worth it but I'm definitely still in the market for a better armband. In the mean time this one will do.

Decent for Droid Charge

Bought this so I could run outdoor and indoor using the Nike+ running app on my Droid Charge. It's too loose if I put the Droid in without the protective case, and falls out too easily. But if I keep my phone in its case, it fits into the armband perfectly and is not in danger of falling out. It is open at the top, so this is not good for an outdoor run if it is raining, but I generally don't run in the rain. If you do, I suggest figuring some way to temporarily use duct tape or something to cover the top.

The navigation buttons, like Home, Back, Menu, etc. work just fine even though they are covered up by the case. I don't generally do a lot of button pushing or touchscreen action during the workout, but I have been able to do it a bit. The plastic cover does make it more difficult, but not horribly so.

My only problems/gripes. First is that I had already calibrated/personalized my Nike+ app to use the accelerometer to estimate my pace and distance on treadmills before I got this armband (when I actually held it in my hand during runs). Now it is a little bit off since I'm now wearing it on my upper arm. This isn't a problem for outdoor runs, since the app uses a GPS for calculations outdoors, but this winter I won't be doing too many outdoor runs. I'll have to try to compensate or re-calibrate the app.

Second issue is I was assuming that this would fit on my forearm so I would have easier access to looking at the display to check out miles, strides, pace, etc. The armband is large enough for me to wear on my upper arm, but I can't get it to tighten to the size of my lower arm - like close to my wrist so I can look at it almost like a watch. Maybe this is just not possible though, as arm movement closer to the hand might jostle even the best armband out of place.

Overall, this armband is comfortable and works well for what I need it to do. And the price is great. I first went to Verizon, but the only "sports packages" they had were way too small for my Droid Charge. Plus Verizon makes you buy the whole sports package, including headphones and other things I don't need - for a price of $60+.

Anyway, this isn't perfect for me, but pretty darn good.

The Sky rocket does fit, its snug which is good, this helps with it not sliding out. The top opening is meant for phone access and I like it that way honestly. Its faster to get my phone out without first taking my armband off. I havnt found any problems with it, I've ran, done dumbells and it hasnt slipped or fallen out..

Very well made. I like the fact that its very stretchy so its really comfortable on my arm, even when i run. My old armband used to make my arm itchy after so much running - the fabric wasnt breathable enough it seems- but this one hasn't so far. Good armband, good price!!
