After their High School graduation they hang out at a cabin with the guys for a week, Ace and Riley have occasional sex, and then all the guys go off to pursue their own things and Riley stays behind. Ace goes off to military boot camp.
Suddenly her dad dies out of nowhere because throughout the whole story he's been on the road for work and is apparently ok with leaving his teenage daughter home alone for long periods of time without checking in. Riley falls in to a depression but has Ace's mom for support. Riley is finally ok but then she finds out that Ace was killed in action. She doesn't believe Ace is dead so she calls their friend Jared who is loaded and hopes he can probably hire a private investigator. And that's it THE END
I looked at all the previews for the next book END NOTE but it mainly focuses on Jared and doesn't seem to have any real connections to book 1 except that he's one of "the six". So I'm definitely curious enough to buy it but I hope it's a lil better than book 1.
