I'm so happy I bought this for my city mini gt double stroller. I was going to buy the infant car seat adapter, but it was VERY expensive (especially for something I would only use for about 3 months). I just couldn't justify buying the adapter for a stroller that cost $500. Then, I randomly came across this wonderful little snuzzler on amazon! It works perfectly. I just put the seat in a reclining position, attached the snuzzler, laid the baby down, and buckled him up (all with one hand). The baby looked and felt totally secured. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this infant car seat support out of the good reviews from many customers. I should have listened to one of the parents who left a negative review about this supporter could hurt the baby's neck. I regret so much. My baby started to cry whenever he was put in the car seat, I finally realized that his back of the neck was actually rubbed against the hard part of the connector. His skin was very red to the point that it was almost bleeding. I almost cried. I am returning this!

Velcro is a deal-killer

I read other reviews mentioning the velcro that attaches the head pillow to the body portion, but thought I'd give it a try and see how it worked anyway. They were right. As you can see in the product photo, the head pillow attaches BEHIND the body portion. When baby is sitting in the seat, the weight naturally pulls down on the body section, making it "roll" down to expose the rough part of the velcro. We only had to use this once to realize the problem, and sent it back.

It's a must have for a newborn so there head doesn't lean to the side. The first photo was around a month old and the next is at 7 months. She's small for her age only about 14 lbs and 26inch long. She's about to grow out of it if that helps you chose to get it or not.

We recently purchased the Graco Snugride for our newborn. After putting her in the car a few times we realized that her head would flop down when sleeping. So we purchase the Summer Infant Snuzzler Infant Support.

This product arrived in a zippered bag, so we can store it easily when it is outgrown. The insert has made all the difference. Our daughters head no long flops around because it is adequately supported. The cushions on the side hug her body as well, making her look more comfortable. We have a small baby, only 7 pounds, and I was worried about it being too big for her, but that is not the case.

I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Recommend for using in stroller

We used this in our Bob stroller starting when my son was about 4-5 weeks old. We would recline the seat and snuggle him in with the Snuzzler to take him on walks. He was content and supported. This eliminated the need for him to be in his baby carrier in the stroller, which didn't seem as comfortable as being in the stroller with the Snuzzler. I recommend this for stroller use.

So my wife comes at me like, "Hey HUSBAND, let's buy this neato crap for our baby." And so I said, "what neato crap? it sounds expensive!" So she says, "It's a Snuzzler, and it fi...." me says, "WAIT A WHAT!?" she says, "a snuzz..." me, "hell no, that sounds dumb."

Well fast forward she buys the snuzzle thing, we stuff it into our overly engineered unnecessarily expensive heavy as hell car seat. I drop my little baby right in there and holy crap, he's just as happy as can be. I swear he was in my arms cryin and sayin, "daddy you suck, you don't give me milk like mommy does!" and then I just plop him right in there and he was asleep before his body had stopped moving.

Seriously this is some reverse baby-catnip or something, I don't even know what they put it in it, but it's clearly more advanced technology than the first human mission to mars is gonna have.

If you don't buy this then you probably don't like having a happy baby. Whatever man, that's your problem, but my little guy, yeah he's sleeping. In fact I don't even know how much this piece of crap costs, but whatever it is, it's worth it. (seriously I can't see the price while writing this review.)

Update (June 24, 2015): So here we are months later, we have a second kid on the way, my brain is about to explode, because babies are tiring. Nah, just kidding, I love my little guy (but I am tired, that part was true). Anyways, maybe you want a more comprehensive review or maybe you're weird and came back to read this a second time and were hoping to see an update, and BOOM here it is, crazy right?

So anyways, I have a big fat baby, and he's cute, but he's way bigger than most babies. When he was 3 months old he was something like 15 or 16 lbs and around 23 inches tall. At that point we could no longer use the snuzzler. We did continue to use the head rest portion for another month though, because his gigantic cranium needed some support.

So y'know if your kid is getting on toward 15+ lbs and/or 24 inches or so... which I think is close to a year old for most non-mutant babies like mine, then you might not be able to continue using this.

SUPER SERIOUS VOICE: Now, for the small safety concerns you should consider with the snuzzler. It is WARM. It's warm enough you could probably just have your baby in a diaper in warm weather. It's like putting on a coat. If your anywhere really warm, you may want to be careful. Also, if you choose to use this be sure to make sure it's positioned well so your baby doesn't turn his or her head into the plush material and have trouble breathing. We never had issues with this, but do keep in mind that like all accessories they need to be installed correctly and inspected from time to time.

Regarding Safety Concerns Overall: As an aerospace engineering student, I take safety VERY seriously. Don't get me wrong, like every half-crazed xy-chromosomed human being I like my fair share of things that explode and what not, but my baby is not included on the list of "people I'd love to watch explode in a fiery death." That list is pretty short and just includes mostly tyrannical monsters from history. Anyways, I digressed. If you've looked up anything to do with car seats you'll see all kinds of warnings and get recommendations not to use this snuzzler, or really any accessory with a car seat for that matter. The issue with that is about 99% of the time it's a legal formality. They don't want to be sued, because hey lets face it, we sue everyone for everything *disclaimer this review is not intended as legal advice, and I can not be held responsible for the advice you do or do not follow that may or may not have come from me.* But, the scientist in me says, hey, use some common sense, and if it feels unsafe to you, then please don't use it. I am personally of the opinion that it is safe when used properly, and that common sense should dictate when you should stop using it. Either way, good luck with your decision.

Well that's all folks, I hope baby number two likes all the stupid materialistic crap we give it to sleep on, pee on, and barf on. Because I sure do love the thought of babies staining stuff we spend our hard earned money on. No seriously, when you become a parent you have a psychotic break with reality, and the thought of a small human's internal fluids irreparably destroying valuable things actually becomes funny. :D Bwaahaaa *singing* "I'M OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD, THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ...."

Fantastic value and really good quailty, had been reccomened this on a mummy Facebook page, and to be fair from pictures on Amazon it doesn't look no way near the quality that it actually is, having this have meant I could love my son from the carry cot over to the seat (as much as he was ready I wasn't but he has been vary eager to look around) so I bit the bullet and got this, my god did his love his first trip put in the seat yesterday, full of smiles, looks super comfy, and supported him very well. Then went put to a family event all afternoon and evening, he fell asleep so fast in it and everyone commented on how comfortable he looked!

Cannot recommend this enough!

Not what it said on the tin

I was hoping this product would help my little one sit in her chair better but this product has no supportive backing to it, it's fine for a cushion surround on their sides and head but nothing more, not only that but the velcro detachable head on it is terrible, my poor 8 week old baby got her hair stuck in the velcro even though it was covered at the time and it knotted so bad i had to cut her hair to get her out of it. I was so upset. The product says you can move it up and down to the size needed, we had it fukly covered and it still pulled down and knotted in her hair so i can only imagine the damage if someone has the velcro extended and their babies hair attaches to the full velcro
We also only had the product two days when it started showing signs of wear where her feet move it was all bobbled. Wouldn't buy again.

Overall I love this support. I bought it for my son as he was too big for his carry cot but not quite able to sit up on his own in his pram yet. He’s 5 months old. The only negative is the the adjustable head support only raises to a certain height with the Velcro and my son is just slightly bigger than this. I’d still buy it again though, I just adjust the head support once he’s in the pram and he looks very comfy in there with plenty support.

Velcro caught my baby's hair

This is really good at keeping my baby comfy and cool but I can't use it anymore after under a week because the bottom bit has folded where she rests her head where it joins the top and the Velcro has twice got stuck to her hair. She was crying due to her hair being pulled- it's a major design flaw that this can happen- I don't recommend it at all because of this.

Unsafe Velcro and too hot

This product is unsafe. I have purchased it to keep my baby secure in her stroller on holiday as she's a bit too small for it. And also to give her a bit of comfort.
Firstly, the Velcro that holds the head rest to the rest of it is in a terrible position and on the first day of using it the rough bit of the Velcro stuck in my babies hair and scratched the back of her head really badly. We had to pull the hair to get her off it and she was very distressed. We had to put a muslin behind her to stop this happening.
Also, it says it keeps them cool in the hot weather but it does not. They are so thick and not breathable at all and it makes my baby really hot and sweaty. We had to remove it as it was getting dangerous. Every time I picked her up out the pram her back and the back of her head were wet with sweat.
Do not but this product for holiday or any other occasion, it is not safe.

This is a lovely product but I will be contacting the manufacturer about one major flaw...
The seam under the baby's neck (where the velcro meets) has the velcro sewn into seam...When baby's head is on it, it rubs their neck and feels awful! Try it with your finger! As it's reversible, we use it the way round where the velcro seem is hidden.
