About the Author
Award-winning author Carolynn Carey has had a love affair with the written word for most of her life, so perhaps it was inevitable that she would end up writing romantic fiction. In addition to writing, she loves to read and she also enjoys her career as an academic editor. She and her husband live in Knoxville, Tennessee and their daughter is a teacher of---what else?---English.

Over all the book is predictable. Still, the writing and story were cute, and the book is a fast read. It appears to be the first of a series about the little town, the girl from Atlanta and the sheriff and their assorted relatives and friends. A reader who enjoys the genre would rate it higher than I did. Unfortunately, it wasn't my cup of tea.
