I have a Shih Tzu and as anyone with one knows, these breeds are very prone to tear stains. Many of the products currently on the market to remove tear stains contain antibiotics or other harmful ingredients. I have always hated the way the stains look under his eyes but I did not want to use these harmful products on my dog. I received a bottle of Premium Pet Eye Tear Remover during a promotion to quality test and review and am very pleased with the results! This tear remover is natural and works extremely well. It does not have any type of strong chemical odor and does not irritate my Shih Tzu’s eyes. My dog is light brown and white and tear stains are easily noticeable on his white fur. It also gets dry and matted from the moisture. Premium Pet Eye Tear Remover is very easy to use. I simply put some on a cotton pad and wiped the tear stains from the fur under his eyes. It does not bother my dog at all and he actually sits still and let me clean the tear stains without a fight. After a couple of uses the rusty stains were completely gone. I also used it under his mouth and it got rid of those stains also.
I am including some before and after pictures which show a major difference. I do realize they are not the best, but this little Shih Tzu would rather sit still to let me clean his tear stains than to let me take a picture!

My Maltese is always getting the brown staining around her eyes. It seems to get worse in the winter when her eyes water from the cold wind. I try to keep her fir trimmed but between groomings, the brown stains develop. I asked my groomer and she recommended a product such as this one so when I was given the opportunity to purchase it for a special price during a promotional period to test for quality, I couldn't resist.

I have been putting this on her eyes for about three days now and am starting to see a difference. After shaking the product, I fill the cap and put a cotton ball in it to soak up the tear remover. I then rub around her eye until the gunk is removed. I repeat on the other side with a fresh cotton ball. The description warns that not all the color will be removed, that some may have to grow out. I plan to continue to use this after her next grooming to keep the stains from happening. Once a week is the recommended usage for maintenance.

My Morkie puppy really likes this product and it works. His tears stain badly. At first I didn't think it did anything, but after reading the instructions (always a good idea!) and following them, I found consistency to be key to product's effectiveness. This is my 2nd bottle, the first lasted for 7 months. Best of all it's safe for animals.

Since our beloved 6 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi was recently diagnosed with having blocked tear ducts, I was thrilled when given the opportunity to receive this company's brand of natural eye-tear stain remover at a discounted price for the purposes of an unbiased product review.

Our corgi never had any eye problems as a puppy, and she didn't start to show symptoms until just recently. We initially thought the tearing and staining on the white fur beneath her pretty brown eyes might have been due to an allergic reaction. After his diagnosis, our vet recommended a "hot" compress treatment twice a day (first putting a clean, soft, wet cotton cloth in the microwave, testing it carefully on our own face first, then holding it gently on her eyes until she shakes it off).

He said in addition to the compress treatments and regular washing of our corgi's face, we could also use a special (safe) grooming product designed for pet fur to help with the stubborn, brownish eye stains.

When we asked him for a product recommendation, he gave us an article to read that told pet owners to be sure to avoid certain manufacturers that had received letters of warning from the FDA in 2014 regarding the use of the antibiotic tylosin tartrate, which is not approved for use in dogs or cats or for the treatment of tear stain-related conditions.

It's one of the major reasons I was willing to try this company's product on our corgi, since it does not contain tylosin. I was also very pleased to learn that each of its ingredients is derived from nature, with NO: Preservatives, Sulfate, Parabens, MEA nor DEA. It's also Alcohol Free, Bio-Degradable & Eco-Friendly. Another huge plus in our household's opinion is that it is Animal Cruelty Free & Made in the USA.

Seriously, this really works. My dog, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel does not mind it at all, NOT at all. Works so fast. The bottle will last forever, only dampen the end of a q-tip and gently wipe the tears area under each eye once a day for one week and the difference is amazing, no more crusting, etc. Gentle, non irritating, I keep well away from the lower lid so that no solution can creep into the eye. Worth the money, believe me.

My dog is getting up there in age and lately she has been looking really "dirty" around the eyes, like her mascara is running. So I decided to try this out for her. So far so good. It's like make-up remover, but tear stain remover for dogs. I've been using it for a little over a week now and I can see that the dark stains are not as much as they used to be. I'm typically very cautious about using harsh chemicals around the house, but when I saw that this is made out of naturally derived ingredients, I didn't hesitate to try it. Another plus for me is that the company gives a portion of the proceeds from each bottle to donate to fight animal cruelty and pet rescue shelters. My dog is a rescue. We adopted her over 9 years ago from the Humane Society and she has been a blessing and big part of our family. So naturally, I'm very careful on what I use on her. I will admit, she doesn't like it when I wipe around her eyes, but my pup loves the smell for some reason and he immediately goes to her face and starts licking. I have to push him away because this may be part of the reason why her eye is tearing up so much. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this product for all dog owners. And I see right now it's on a special price. I received mine on promo and so glad I did.
