So many delightful characters! Lots of amusing situations that would be less funny if they happened to you. Lots of clever solutions to problems. A heroine that rises to the challenges and, maybe, gains confidence in herself. I don’t love the klutzy, insecure leading lady meme, but this is well done. Great supporting characters and the promise of a romantic relationship wort having make for a satisfying conclusion. This series has promise.

A Wonderful Contemporary Romance with lots of laughs along the way

This second book in the Cornish Confetti Agency series has Lexie back planning another wedding, solving another mystery and hoping that things will go smoother than the last wedding. Kat and Dylan’s ‘English village fête’ wedding is taking place at the vicarage and the whole village will be invited. The best man, Noah, is not very well liked by the group, except for the groom, and someone has targeted him as the recipient of a series of practical jokes. As Lexie tries to sort out what is happening and ensure that nothing happens on the wedding day, she finds several people who are keeping secrets and have reason to get back at Noah. Theo is back in this outing, trying to help Lexie out as much as he can, but he also has a secret that he is keeping from Lexie. Marley, the owner of the Cornish Confetti Agency is also going to be home at the end of the month so Lexie has to decide what she will do at that time.

I love the relationships in these books. Freya and Jasper are back planning and working the weddings as well as adding a bit of humour. I love the closeness between them and Lexie as well as others in the village. The practical jokes played are hilarious and had me laughing out loud with the characters. I love reading about the chaos that seems to surround Lexie wherever she goes and how she is going to solve it. The romance between Lexie and Theo is so sweet. It is not in your face, but sweet and romantic. I love how it is developing and I am so looking forward to seeing what is next for them. The story is well developed and plotted. All the characters are well developed and I would love to meet each and every one of them, even Noah. I love how this story ended and set up a wonderful story for the next book in this series. Each wedding is so well planned and has such great themed activities, as well as delicious sounding food and beautiful flowers and decorations. If I ever get remarried, I would love to get married in Cornwall with my wedding planned by the Cornish Confetti Agency. I received a copy of this book upon request from Rachel's Random Resources. Lexus and The I make such a cute couple and he is so good at financing her. The characters are always fun and the hyjinx that ensue make for interesting stories.

We meet our lead, Lexie in the pandemonium of a fashion show and I almost clapped my hands together in the sheer magic of it all- a stunning, wonderous, glitzy event that we don’t know if she’ll succeed in getting every single moment perfect for. Not every single moment exactly goes to plan and my jaw dropped.

To hear next that there was some wedding planning going on had me thrilled- I’m beyond partial to a good wedding!! I loved the drama and dramatics of this book, mingled with the comedy, romance, colour and vividness that you never fail to get with a Daisy James book. I savoured it all and can’t recommend enough for these times for pure escapism in a time when both the weather is changing and we need the pop of colour. Can’t wait for the next book!

Nice to relax and read this book Lexie and Theo's relationship growing in this story and trying to work out whose sabotaging the efforts to make this wedding go off nicely who is pranking the obnoxious best man is what's to be found and his attitude to the other's of the wedding party finally all is revealed and the wedding goes well and Lexie and Theo grow closer passed an afternoon pleasantly have other books of this author and look forward to her next one

The second book in this series and just as lovely a read as the first. I felt I was there in the perfect Cornish village setting. As before Lexie and Theo, whose romance is progressing, turn detective as things happen which could scupper the wedding plans. Super characters in a fairy tale setting I am very much looking forward to reading Book 3.
