OK, NOT GREAT QUALITY, Nice Price and HUGE Size Assortment

A couple things about this heat shrink. This is NOT HEAVY DUTY high quality heat shrink. If you were expecting such a thing from a 410 piece set for 8 bucks, Sorry... That being said, you need to go into this purchase with the right expectations. 400 pieces for 8 bucks, Ok well I'm not working on the space shuttle, so it should work right?

The tubing does NOT shrink as much as they say it does. It would be nice if it did, but it is just not the case. So to get around this, you need to put the smallest possible piece of tubing on your wires. It should be a snug fit, before shrunk.

Because of the lower quality of the tubing, using a lighter is also not recommended. Use a heat gun if possible, and hold it further away then you might normally, or else the tubing will burn before it shrinks.

Honestly that's about it for this tubing. If you go in to it with realistic expectations, you should be pleasantly surprised. If you are expecting 3M quality, you should look elsewhere.

So much heatshrink. It started small, first some little project wires, maybe a connector here and there that I put together. Before long, I had the missus yelling at me for silly reasons. The cat absolutely looks better with that jaunty red shrink tube around its tail, even if it gives me dirty looks all the time. They laugh at me now, but my combination wooden spoon/hobby knife wouldn't have been possible without the utility of all this heatshrink, and they'll laud my genius before long, I'm certain.

Also, it's really hard bending your fingers once you heatshrink a tube around them. Just a tip for those who were curious.

good quality, uneven quantity in each size... see comment

plastic quality is excellent for light to medium duty honk shrink tubing. This is NOT heavy duty shrink tubing.

Shrinkage is good. 25% shrinkage. Which is what I prefer & want. (If you get to much shrinkage, then it will start to split) If you need a larger percentage shrinkage then, don't buy this product!

I like how it is packaged in that each size is packaged on its own, then all of those in a bigger bag.

The negative.... You get 410 pieces, (I was actually shorted 5 pieces) COUNT YOURS! 10 sizes 5 colors. I was hoping for 40 or 41 pieces per size. However that wasn't the case.... which leaves me more in one size then I need, and not enough of another size that I need.

The breakdown is as follows:
1mm 110, 2mm 90, 3mm 70, 4mm 50, 6mm 20, 8mm 20, 10mm 15, 14mm 15, 20mm 10, 30mm 5.

unless my math is off they have shorted me 5 of them.

At first i was skeptical about the quality of the tubing, as there's a TON of it for such a low price, but it works better than some of the other tubing that i've used before. It comes in a vacuum-sealed bag to keep it compact, and each size is separated in other smaller, resealable bags. It's a great value, and they work great! I've tested the tubing with almost all sizes, and all work great. I used a candle lighter, moving past the tubing quickly to heat it, but you could probably use a hair dryer, which would be safer. The tubing comes in a 2-3" long strip, I was able to cut one into smaller pieces to cover 5 splitter's worth of wiring. There are many sizes, mostly small-medium range ones, but the largest size is roughly 1.5" in diameter. I'm sure it would be useful for cable management, but not really for what I'm needing it for. There's plenty of the tubing, I would estimate it would last me a few months before I get low. Overall, it's the best deal I could find, and it works great. There are plenty of sizes that come with it, so if you're unsure about which size to use, you can experiment around with this variety pack.

10/10, would buy again.

Great bundle for people building RC products, I used this on some of my FPV racing drone builds and the tube shrinks down easily and tight like I want it. Great selection of sizes, which have come in handy as some wires for signal are small while motor and battery wires are bigger. One tip, if you have no holder for your receiver antenna, just strap on a zip tie and run shrink wrap over the antenna and zip tie, heat, and you'll have great support for them, cheap and easy.

Nice Variety for Multiple Projects

Bought as a gift for the husband but I admit I use them too. They shrink nicely and give a nice finishing touch that otherwise isn't possible. It seals up joints where water would otherwise be an issue. We've used them in both automotive and indoor use cases and have yet to have any problems with the material over time. It is a great variety pack with lots of sizing options and plenty of each size. It will shrink nicely with a heat gun, lighter, or soldering iron -- so project specifics all work out.

Good set of heat-shrink tubes, but a little heavy on the smaller tubes

For the most part, I would say the heat shrink tubes are good here. It would have been nice to get a little more shrink, but it did the job.

The colours are not quite as shown here, but close enough. For example, red seems to be more of a red-orange colour, rather than strongly red.

As far as the set goes, and this applies to so many of the sets I saw before I picked this one, there are too many of the really tiny tubes and too few of the medium size ones. I got more tubes that would barely fit over the smallest wires I use when I rewire PC mice to rearrange the buttons than I got tubes that I could really use. Unhappily, this particular attribute covers all of the others I saw too, but I'm taking off a star for this anyway.

The set was packaged in a big sealed plastic bag with a number of smaller plastic bags (taped closed) inside. I appreciate the use of inner re-sealable bags, even if it is a bit of a stretch to call them that.
