Warning do not use!!

This is the worst sun screen ever!! Warning do not use. Leaves a terrible white film on skin and on everything that it comes in contact with. But, more importantly, it destroyed my eyes. The burn was the worst thing I have ever experienced and I did not apply on my eyes. The worst part is that it left my skin raw so the next day when I was in the sun using another product my eyes got so irritated and blew up making me look like someone has punched me in the eyes. I have never written a review but wanted to warn people. Don’t be fooled by the hype...this is the worst product I have ever used in my life.

I used this product like I would any other sunblock, on my face, body, legs/arms, etc. I take care not to put it in my eyes or around my eyes, mostly the forehead, nose, cheeks, ears, mouth- I’m a grown woman and know how to apply sunscreen.

Within 10 mins of this being on my face, suddenly my eyes burned like hell. I had to flush out my eyes for a good 20 minutes just to stop the stinging and they were red and irritated for 6 hours. I had difficulty driving home from my son’s baseball game bc my eyes were so irritated from this product. I have never had an adverse reaction to any sunblock I’ve put on my face in all the years I’ve used sunblock. I would NOT recommend this product!

One of the main reasons I pay the extra $$ for sun bum, other than the obvious better for the planet reasons, is the smell. It smells like vacation!!! Coconut, a hint of bananas etc. This does not have that same smell!! Makes me think it’s a knock off. Smells just like reg sunblock. I don’t think it’s a sun bum product. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have and always will love the smell of "tanning lotion" "sunscreen" call it what you want. This stuff reminds me of what I used as a teenager. I like the idea of the company and so I like Sun Bum. Non greasy, yet hydrating. I got the right amount of sun while smelling like sunshine and vacation!! The bottle is cool and not overdone. Seems like lots of good stuff for my skin. I use the SPF chap stick too, and the after sun lotion. Don't fall for the pricey stuff out there claiming they are worth the extra money. I've been there recently, sucked in to the organic, 50+ SPF, unscented, unwrinkle your wrinkle, make you skinny lies. This is delightful in every thing I want it to be. Buy it.

This was my first time using a more environmentally and body friendly sunscreen. I feel like I apply more often. There is always a chalky residue that I find after applying. I can also tell when I did not wash it off well enough after a shower. I only use it at my home pool for the time being, I am afraid it will leave residue on the car interior and anything else we may touch while out.

This is easily my favorite sunblock ever. I love the scent, the texture, and the protection it provides. I'm tan so I don't need a high SPF, however my husband does since he has fair skin. He loves this product, too.

The SPF15 provides me a nice amount of protection in that I don't feel any part of my skin burning, but I do get a nice tan. Never walked away with a sunburn. My husband loves this because this is one of the few products he can apply and it'll stay put (although I don't think it's waterproof), and he can walk away without burning. The SPF 15 gives him protection but still allows him to tan. Although with the sun getting more intense, or him being out a lot longer, he will move to the SPF 35.

I have to apply this as often as any other sunscreen, but I can say the quality of this if way better than anything else I've used. I haven't used any of the other Sun Bum products, but the sunscreen is definitely a win!

I haven't ever bought/used Sun Bum but I thought I would give it a try. I first saw it at target and was curious what it smelt like but when I opened the lid to smell it I noticed that it had a foil seal. I read some reviews, heard it smelt pretty good so I decided to get it on amazon because it was a little cheaper. When it came in the mail there was no foil seal.... This was a little specious considering the all of them at target were sealed. Kind of got me questioning whether this was the real stuff or if it been filled with something other than Sun Bum. But, when I used it for the first time it smelt really good and seemed to work fine.

I’m terribly disappointed in my Sun Bum purchase on Amazon. I’m a loyal sun bum fan and always buy in the store. I ran out of time before vacation and decided to order it. I’m not sure where amazon gets these products from but this shipment I received is definitely defective. It was as if we used no sunscreen at all.
