I use this module with an Adafruit M0 Feather to provide an alert. Connecting this module is easy, and a PWM pin drives the buzzer circuit. The current draw on the PWM pin is ~1.26 mA and is within the 2 mA tolerance for the M0 Feather. I use a 50 msec HIGH / 50 msec LOW cycle to provide the alert tone. The volume of the tone is about that of the tone from a microwave, so it is quite noticeable. Note that the frequency of the tone is fixed for this module.

Ordered three of these items. Only one out of the three functions. The other two active buzzers never fully shut off. They still buzz when the GPIO pin status is changed although they change frequency and volume. Perhaps I am doing something wrong and if I find that is the case then I will update this status.

Product came in perfect condition. Very slight dead zones but not at all an issue. There are two integrated LED’s: one shows power to the joystick and the other one lights up when the stick is pressed in. Only had it fr a week but it’s a quality product

Nice and loud. My son used it in a device I helped him build. We could hear the buzzer from the other end of the house. About as loud as the SimonXT security panel's piezo.

These work really well. Make sure you use an external AD reference voltage of from 2.5-3.3 volts since it puts out a max of 2+ volts (cant remember the exact number). Anyway I put my reference at 3.3 and everything works great. With using the 5+ volts on my arduino the resolution was unusable.

Everything worked as it should, once I realized I didn't have i2c enabled on my pi4. Next step is to figure out how I'm going to use the module as if it's a mouse.

Great product.

Great product.. What I like the most about it is that the pins are already soldered to the sensor, so it is much easier to connect it to the board. Coding for it is really fun

Reviewed in Italy on December 7, 2016Color: BlackVerified Purchase
In pratica inutilizzabile.

Piccolo ma funziona bene
Reviewed in Italy on March 1, 2016Verified Purchase
