I ordered this cabinet and received it very promptly. When putting the cabinet together, I noticed a crack in the side panel. I called the customer service number and was told a replacement would be sent to me. As I continued with the construction of the cabinet I found two more broken pieces. Again, customer service told me replacements would be sent. This all took place in early June. As of this date I have received NO replacement parts. Although, the cabinet is sturdy and certainly fills the need I wanted it for the quality/customer service would prevent me from purchasing from this company again.

Well, I had placed this on my wishlist - mainly as a bookmark to myself but lo and behold I ended up receiving it as a birthday gift! The cabinet comes completely unassembled but in surprisingly few pieces and boasts of "No Tools" assembly, which should have made assembly a breeze. Unfortunately it wasn't all that simple. Instructions are OK though they are multi-language which always makes it a bit more difficult as you skip around to the English lines. Plus the illustrations are small and thus don't show much detail. A couple of the plastic pieces in my box were slightly mis-formed which made lining things up very difficult. Having many years of experience assembling childrens' toys and other furniture, I can usually get things like this together one way or another; I really did not feel like sending it back for an exchange. So after some shaving of overmolds in the plastic and having to bang a little with a hammer I got it all together. The backing piece is, as usual, a fairly flimsy sheet of plastic and when assembled with the word "TOP" at the top, none of the side holes lined up - off by several inches. I worried that I might have installed the sides upside-down (they would have worked either way up), so I checked and that didn't make a difference; the holes were way off both ways up. So I had to punch new holes with a scratch awl in order to get the little plastic fasteners inserted.

Now it is all assembled but I haven't yet mounted it on the wall. The unit feels reasonably sturdy - for being all plastic - though I am very glad that I plan to keep very light supplies in the cabinet; I am not confident that the cabinet would hold up well with any weight in it.

For the price I really can't complain much, and if needed I would probably purchase another of these, though I would first consider the weight of the intended contents.

The review is worth 7 out of 10 so I rounded it up to 4 stars out of 5.

Purchased 5 of these to hang in my garage and wanted to organize things. Choose these over the Rubbermaid cabinets due to cost. Overall they were pretty easy to assemble but putting things together that are plastic can sometimes be tricky. Everything basically snaps together and if everything is not perfectly aligned, it can be a little aggravating. However, once you get the hang of things, you can put these together in about 15 minutes plus or minus a few cuss words!

The instructions say you can put 50 lbs on each shelf. This item comes with a shelf and you can use it if you want or you can keep it out if you have tall items you are going to put in this cabinet. However, I would not put 100 lbs (total weight) in these cabinets. I am not worried about these coming off the wall but the bottom shelf will "bow" if you put more than about 30lbs on the bottom shelf let alone 50lbs.....The shelf that you can insert into this cabinet comes with a metal bar to prevent it from "bowing" but not sure why they couldn't have put in some type of metal bar on the bottom of this cabinet as well to prevent the bottom from bowing when you put heavy items in it. I put in 3, 5-quart jugs of oil in my cabinet and the bottom felt like it would bow if I put in anymore weight than that....my suggestion would be to put lightweight items in the wall cabinets and purchase the base cabinet that goes on the ground for the heavier items.

I ordered two base cabinets and put these immediately under the wall cabinets and it looks nice. I plan on putting the heavy items in these cabinets and just keep the lighter items in the wall cabinets.

I put this cabinet on pavers in a planter to hold my gardening tools. On other websites, it is advertised as "outdoor" but it is not waterproof. Amazon does not describe it as "outdoor" but I didn't notice that omission and purchased it.

The spinklers came on for three minutes (I forgot to redirect the heads) and there was water all over the inside base of the cabinet. In each side of the cabinet there are two horizontal vents, one low and one high. I put duct tape over the lower vents (inside and out). I also put duct tape over the anchor holes in the back panel. All of these gaps are far too large for caulking.

I retested the cabinet several times by lightly spraying for 20-30 seconds each time. If I angled the cabinet slightly back, there was less water; however, water still came in. If I sprayed lightly on the sides like a light sideways rain or sprinkler water, water still got in through the door mechanism. I tried adjusting the push pins to allow for a deeper channel down the back and out the holes in the bottom but I could not stop all of the water from intruding.

In a heavy rain or if the cabinet is exposed to sprinklers, there will be water inside. I cannot use the cabinet.

If you get the cabinet, you may find that the push pins are hard to install because some of the holes don't all line up easily. I gave up on two and used nuts and bolts (thinner than the push pins) and that worked fine (no water intrustion in those locations).

I gave the cabinet three stars because it will work well indoors and I suppose it's my fault for not reading the Amazon description more carefully. There is room to add additional shelves you make yourself.
