I have owned a couple Suncast products and have been very satisfied with their sturdiness and durability. That's why I chose their 73 gallon deck box. Assembly is very easy, UNTIL you get to the lid. It didn't look like there was any way I was going to be able to pry those "hinges" onto the back of the deck box. I was afraid the little pins would break. After much frustration and trying to force the hinges onto the pins, I read some reviews of it and someone suggested just lining it up and sitting on it. Well, I tried that, and I am no lightweight, but that didn't do the trick. In desperation, I finally sat on it with force, kind of like bouncing myself down onto the back of the lid over each hinge. It worked!
People who complained that the directions are terrible maybe didn't take the time to read through them before assembly. It's simple- everything is labeled and couldn't be easier (until you get to the lid, heh). The deck box holds a lot, looks nice, and I'm sure it will be waterproof as are their other products. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lid assembly.
