Ms. Bennett puts her characters through emotional extremes that will leave her readers just as raddled. The love scenes are as intense as the fights, and both are fabulously detailed. I have to say this is an excellent read, and the interracial component of the story is beautifully captured and well written.

Sunday is hands-down, the hottest book I've ever read. And folks, I've read a lot. For the first four chapters, my eyebrows did not come down ONCE... Without a doubt, Kaia Bennett has a new fan over here. I can't wait to read more.

What a thrilling a ride.
The writing was top notch. It flowed evenly with not much drag or lag. The characters were 3 dimensional. Very real and very authentic. I loved the fact that Flynn and Gia were an interracial couple, but that fact wasn’t the main focal point. The author did an amazing job incorporating their different races without making it a major story plot. The sex scenes were written with so much passion and emotions.
The storyline was AMAZING. One of the best stories I have read in a while. The journey of how Flynn and Gia go from hate to lust to love was incredibly beautiful. And incredibly relatable. This beautiful love story makes you rethink everything you thought you know about what it means to fall in love. That love is not always cookie-cutter and clean, that sometimes, the deepest and realest love can be born and breed from dirty, nitty gritty lust.
4 star because as much as I enjoyed the realistic passion between these two lovers, there was a lot of sex scenes. Kinda started to seem like plot fillers. I also didn’t enjoy the ending to Flynn and Gia’s HEA. It was slightly lackluster compared to the journey it took to get them there. The ending could have been better executed.
However none of the above takes away from the amazing story this author created. I was highly impressed by this novel and I would love to read more of this authors work.
This is the third book I've had the pleasure of reading by this author and as in previous books the sex is excessive and off the charts. The very first intimate scene between Flynn and Gia is a strange one to say the least. In my opinion, the author walked a fine line of non con actions. It will be up to every reader to determine the scene for themselves. I would suggest the author place a specific disclaimer in the description of the book as some readers might find this scene as a trigger and/or offensive.
When I was a teen I was one of those girls who was attracted to bad boys so I totally see how and why Gia was attracted to Flynn. Back then I would rationale it as opposites attracting. Luckily, now I know better. At any rate, I was rooting the whole time for Flynn & Gia. I appreciated their differences: ethnicity, upbringing/experiences, personality. As with any differences, they balanced out the couple.
I don't want to give away any spoilers because I believe the love story that's weaved between all the sex is good. I will say I'm glad Gia discovered Luca's true colors.
I love, love, love, loved reading Sunday. My favorite part of this book is the title and how it is merged in and out of the story. I guess every couple has a favorite day (winking eye).
If you have a problem with excessive sex scenes, content that maybe dubious, and cheating, then Sunday is NOT for you. If you enjoy reading storytelling that's written well and engaging then pick up Sunday. I'm giving Sunday 4.5 sexy stars upgraded to 5 because the characters are hot and the sex is hotter.
Gia and Flynn were partnered for a Psychology class project. Gia has a type A personality and Flynn seemed like a slacker because he always slept in class and he seemed as if he wasn’t taking an active role in the project. Gia and Flynn met in his apartment on Sunday week after week. The scene that the reader starts with is a week that defines the rest of the story. Flynn is annoyed with Gia because she thinks he is worthless as a student and person. Flynn sets out to prove to Gia that even though she may think of him negatively, he can still get her to want him and thus begins a battle of wills. Let me warn readers right here, that this scene will either prompt you to move forward to see how the author handles this situation, or you will immediately put the book down because this is a usual non-starter in a book. Flynn and Gia’s road to love is not easy by any means as Flynn is a self-proclaimed (and everyone else thought so as well) butt, and Gia has a single track mind and neither person gives any ground easily. I loved the battle of wills in this story. It wasn’t sweet and half the time they didn’t like each other, but their chemistry outweighed all the cons in this story and made them spectacular. When they were together, they were good, but when they weren’t, they were pure toxic for one another, but they still had a fire for one another that couldn’t be quenched even during the bad times. Their love was hard earned and you are glad for the HEA.

I don't want to reveal too much, but it is a beautiful, Hot, young adult romance, with all the young love angst, and a love triangle as well. I enjoyed so much I have told 5 people in my office to read this book. You won't be disappointed!
