I bought the sampler for Sunday Love long ago. It was the version of the sampler with full length songs. Even as a sampler, it was my favorite album at the time, and is still one of my all-time favorite albums. When the full album leaked, I admit I listened to the songs missing from the sampler, and they did not disappoint. I am thrilled to now have the chance to legally own the full album, a chance that I jumped on as soon as I realized it was FINALLY available legally. I wish Fefe was more popular in the USA, but as long as I have legal access to her music, I'll be buying it. I don't know if she'll ever repeat the musical experience that is Sunday Love, but this album alone is enough to make me a fan for life. My favorite song from Sunday Love? Get You Off. "I feel you stepping on my wings." That hits home for me. There are other lyrical gems on this album. Listen and maybe you'll appreciate this album as much as I do.

You rock, Fefe!

Her best work to date! She's tried for the longest to get this album out, and thanks to technology she was able to get it done! What makes this album the charm of Fefe's career is that, unlike the debut album she was more familiar with her craft this time around and she knew exactly what she wanted out of it. This album, in comparison to all other material she's released is how consistent it is from beginning to end. She channeled a few different sides of rock music, you're able to hear her influences throughout this entire record. What' has added to this album's greatness is who are in the credits of it, Courtney Love, Nina Gordon, Kay Hanley to name a few. If you've ever enjoyed music by these women, you're able to hear their influence not only on particular songs, but throughout the album. Grungie/Hair-metal with a power-pop overtone, very crafty and spunky. Out of all of her music, This is my favorite full length package. What makes her newer music terrible is that unfortunately, Fefe Dobson has been forced into recording actual pop music, she's incorporating Hip-hop, dance and Taylor Swift-like elements to her music, this is not her territory and is not flattering to her look or vocals. The tracks have been over produced, autotuned up and over polished to the point of being unrecognizable and sounding no different from the kids on disney (not a good sound or look). This is her only choice if she wants to be relevant, but it won't matter either way what she does, it's too late for that. This industry thrives off of dollar signs, not creativity. From beginning to end, Sunday Love is a big favorite of mine, awesome production and cool, catchy songs! She will never top this album, just when she began nailing her inner rockstar, the industry changed it's mind.Read more ›

I must admit that when she first came out I wasn't a big Fefe Dobson fan. "Take Me Away" was meh to me. That video got played a lot on MTV's TRL around the time her first disc got released too. It wasn't until I heard the softer "Everything" that I gave her a chance. One day while strolling around in a Best Buy (I think) I got the disc. It was pretty cheap. Like 7 something. Let me tell you it was worth it! Flash forward to 2006. Fefe tries her hardest to release this disc but it gets shelved after a single comes out and doesn't make a splash on the charts. The record label also didn't like Fefe's image at the time. And it's a damn shame because this record is a little better than her first. The record has splashes of pop, pop rock and pop punk throughout. The production is usually pretty nice too. I actually like every single track besides "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" which is very boring and low on energy. Just annoying. Tracks 3-8 as well as "The Initiator", however, are my favorites and are all highly rated on iTunes by me.

I'd say you should get this online like I did. It's not for sale in stores but there are other ways of getting it like at Amazon. It's very upbeat for the most part. A strong release.

4.6 stars.

So today I received a couple full songs from this album, as well as a couple clips, and let me tell you that this album ROCKS. I've been listening to the 7/8 tracks non-stop. This album is a lot better than the debut, which I didn't listen to as much. I had a few favorites here and there. But from what I've heard so far, this album should be a hit. Believe me, it's gonna be worth the wait.

Amazon.com isn't totally wrong. The original date of release was back in October, but it got pushed back to February 7. Obiviously it didn't come out that day. :) After 2/7, it got pushed back to May 2nd, then May 22nd, and now it's June 20th. It could come out sooner or later, but as far as I've heard, it's 6/20. Hopefully it comes out sooner than that. I heard that Fefe and her crew are retouching the album. She wants it to be the best it can be before she releases it.
