About Amorphous Solar Power
Solar panels convert sunlight into an electric current, they do not store power. Amorphous solar panels are created by spraying silicon onto glass in very thin layers, and are commonly known as thin film solar panels. This process allows them to be better at generating electricity in all lighting conditions, including cloudy or shady environments. Amorphous solar panels have a maximum operating temperature of -40 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit, requiring virtually no maintenance.

So this came with 4 mounting tabs that snap into the frame. I had to sand one of them down so that it would snap into the frame.
Then the other problem I has was that I have purchased over the years many float/trickle chargers that came with the 2 pin flat connector. They have all been wired the same. On this unit they were backwards. But it was an easy fix, I just took the back of and moved the wires around to match my existing connections. Over all it appears to work good and seems pretty well made.
Maintenance free is the key for me...and this charger gets perfect A's across the board. I use it to charge a deep cell Tandem setup (2x 12V-35AH) it keeps the batteries at around 14.2V during peak sun hours, and I have yet to see it go over 14.8V. I run lights and a small fan all day and it has yet to drop below 12.2V If you are looking for a worry free solar charger, this is the way to go.
