We needed a bright light for over our garage that would come on whenever we came home after dark, and to deter thieves. The light is very bright and continues to work well, but the motion detector quit working a little over a month ago. Thought at first it was because we had a bunch of rainy days, so no solar charging, but once we had plenty of sunshine, I tried turning on the light manually, and it works fine. But the motion detector will not turn the light on any more. Been too busy to contact the company, but I plan to when I get a chance...
UPDATE January 25, 2019: I contacted the seller, who doesn't handle warranty issues, and was referred to Amazon Customer Service. Amazon looked into it, and referred me to the manufacturer. A Sunforce rep had me do a few tests to the light to be sure it couldn't be reset; nothing worked. So the rep put in for a replacement unit, which I just received today. I'll be installing it as soon as I can.
I have to say, everyone I've talked to has tried to be helpful. The only thing left is to see how well the replacement unit works.
