Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers find the jumper wires work well and offer good value for money. However, the quality receives mixed feedback, with some finding them decent while others express disappointment. Moreover, the fit is problematic, with customers noting the short length and small size. Additionally, the connector quality and crimping accuracy also get mixed reviews.

Arrived approximately 1 week earlier than Amazon stated they would come. They came packaged in thin plastic film, then placed in bubble wrap envelope. Then crimp pretty well. For the price the quality is way above par. I purchased so I can make custom cables for my Arduino Uno. If you need dupont jumper wire pins then this product is a great solution & great price!!
These are not the same as the crimp connectors that are used in the standard 0.1” jumpers - they are much smaller. Perhaps I didn’t understand the sellers description but they are useless to me and not worth returning.
I made a mistake buying these with out buying a special crimping tool. Also the metal is quite thin. And, without insulation, it's really hard to keep them from shorting with neighboring connectors What I really needed were the preassembled "Dupont" connectors. Unfortunately, they don't make them with just tinned leads, so I had to buy a set of preassembled jumper cables with connectors on each end. Then I chopped off one end of each and stripped the wire. Just search under "Dupont jumper set." They cost the same as these flimsy bits of metal, and they are much easier to work with!
Like other reviewers have said, these don't crimp properly. I've used ones from digikey in the past and had no problems at all, so this is not a case where "it is a poor carpenter who blames his shoddy tools..."
The ears that grab the conductor are too short to reach their way around a 22 ga. wire after the crimp has been made. The length of the connector also seems shorter than it should be. For example, the male version of these connectors from the same manufacturer has much more distance between the crimp for the conductor and the crimp that is suppose to grab the insulation and act as a strain relief. This means that you have to be very precise when trim your bared wire to length. I ended up leaving the bare wire a little longer and crimping both pairs of ears onto the conductor in the hopes of making a more solid connection. When I finally got one into its housing, the receptacle is so shallow that the male pins have very little engagement and don't feel like they're going to stay in place.
Bottom line: I'll be soldering some pre-crimped jumper wires onto the wiring harness, as I don't trust these connectors to hold for what I'm doing. They may work better for smaller gauges.
I'm glad I found these here on Amazon. I went to a local hobby shop for these and they wanted $10 for 15 of these along with 5 3-pin connectors, I bought it because I needed it, but when I got home and found these I felt a little ripped off. Oh well, live and learn I guess!
These are about 2/3 the price of the Harwin version from DigiKey. They seem to fit the housings fine from the same Amazon source. I'm using them for RAMPS board stepper motor and other connections. #24 stranded PVC 300V wire crimps fine. There appears to be enough room for #22, but I haven't tried yet. You will need a good crimper. I'm using a Molex premium crimp tool that has 1.4 to 4.8 mm sizes. These crimp fine on the 1.6 mm die.
