4.0 out of 5 stars works great... sturdy NO QR CODE INCLUDED
By B-row on December 21, 2015
pretty good. still cheap, but its just a novelty. no qr code or measurements included. Just some google translated straight from chinese (random tense) "directions" and advise. Would be a lot of help if these companies that didn't include QR codes would at least give dimensions of their products to make setup easier. use the qr code i attached to make it work... or go to http://www.hypergridbusiness.com/faq/vr-headset-qr-codes/

anyway... good product. I have a handful of cardboard viewers and this is worth 10 of any of them in value. Works with my nexus 6, but just barely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, an affordable plastic version that works great.
By MikeyFTL on June 28, 2016
This review is for the Sunnypeak Portable ($9.99). I've gone through several of these "affordable" plastic viewers and this is one of the best I've come across. First, the optics are excellent and the focus is sharp. There's no fuzziness around the edges and the view is fully immersed without seeing the sides (of my Galaxy Note Edge). The lenses are fixed, which is good because every viewer I've used with adjustable lenses has been garbage. I also like how tiny the viewer is, not like these other monstrous headsets that feel awkward and weigh a ton. Although it has no face padding, it's extremely comfortable for long viewing. The only downside is that the lenses fog up because the heat of your face is sealed in. More ventilation would have resolved this. The large clip that holds the phone does an excellent job of keeping it in place and allows it to stay cool, but it's slightly awkward to use at first. The straps are a bit cheesy but effective and easily removed. Since it's portable, a carrying case would have been nice, but for $9.99 you can't go wrong with this little guy. The attached VR code works best with this viewer.
