Amazing Customer

Fits like a glove, but awkward

I have purchased and used the "walmart" sun shades for previous cars and, while they worked well, they wore out very quickly and/or just fell apart. I have only had this sunshade for about a week now, but for the short time I've had it I can say this fits the windshield like a glove. It recommends using your visors to hold it in place, but you really don't even need to since it fits so well. My only concern is folding the corners to get it around my rear-view mirror: I can see this wearing out after awhile of repeated uses. But for now, it does its job and does it well.

UPDATE: After using this for a few months now I must say... storing it is very awkward. If you roll it up with the velcro strap provided, the shield starts to stay perma curled on the edges and no longer sits snug in the windshield. It is VERY awkward to remove or put up if someone is in your passenger seat, and still awkward even if someone is not. Has also started to sag in the middle. Overall still works great, and definitely better than any walmart visor I've found, but it has become quite the hassle to use.

Expected better for the price

For the much higher price than the standard one-for-all-cars ones, I was expecting better. It's very hard and crispy, so it requires a lot of bending to get in and out of position. After only weeks of use, it started wearing at the areas where I have to bend it. Also, it's a bit hard to get in and out of position, and it's not a perfect/exact fit as claimed (close, but for the extra cost and extra difficulty with flex-and-bend not worth it).

It's otherwise a good products, and I like the velcro that allows me to roll and close and store easily.

If I were to purchase another in the future I might spend less for the one-size-fits-all. In the meantime this one works well enough.

I used this sunshade for the first time today. The car was sitting in full sun, facing forward with the sunshield up and it had been a hot sunny morning. I walked to my car in the full sun at lunch time and felt hot until I stepped in through my car door. The car was cold! Like, seriously, the car was cold! I have parked in this same car park many times over several years and used other sun visors but I have never managed to have the inside of my car feel cold on a hot sunny day so I'm impressed - it protects my dashboard, steering wheel, and keeps the heat out of my car. I can definitely recommend this!

Good but Awkward

This keeps the sun out and the temperature down. I have a 2013, but took a chance that this would fit and it does. It was perfect at first, but with time it doesn't fit flush in the center anymore. Also, it rolls up and it can be difficult to store in the car. I usually put it in the passenger seat, or the back seat if I have to. But if my car is full of people, I need to put it in the trunk because it is just to big and bulky.

This was custom sized and perfect for my vehicle. It fits so well that I don't even have to hold it down with my shades! I bought one for my boyfriend's car and he loves it as well. The only thing that I don't necessarily enjoy is how bulky it can be. It's hard to roll it up inside your car sometimes. When I'm in a rush, I'll attempt to roll it up once and if I can't do it, I'll toss the whole thing in the back. Haha! Overall, it works really well!

I have a 2013 Mazda3 i Touring. The sunshade is cut to fit the windshield exactly, but it does sag a bit in the center from top to bottom. I'm not sure if this is due to the rearview mirror cut out being too deep or weak construction in this area of the sunshade. Using the car's sunvisors does not help with this drooping. This gap does seem to allow sun to seep in the cabin area. The car is cooler on the inside over all. I don't mind it being roll up style or have an issue sorting it as a fold up version would take up just as much room. Installing the sunshade is easy. Just don't like that sag/droop.

Fits perfectly, does its job very well, the only thing that's a bit annoying about it is rolling it back up for storage. Definitely not as easy to do or as compact as the folding ones, but it's a very functional product. Helps to keep the dash and the seats a lot cooler for sure.
