You will love Jennie. She is a very funny girl, totally in love with her dog, Millie, her work, Talling Tails, but not totally happy after his dad died in a car accident two years ago. Until her mother show her a brochure with the perfect place to make her dreams come true Cherry Tree Farm. But can she use the money she has due to her father accident? This is the story of Jennie' s journey to happiness and the people she will met and the experience she will have in order to achieve her dreams, even if it means losing the ones that you love behind, but that will be with you all the way. Lilac will make you laugh out loud, cry, but won't be able tu pit the book aside until the end.

Jenni and Scott the vet with help of Cissy Scott's late grandmothers spirit and Millie they get together and with a puppy named Cherry. Neil James the bad guy was in fact Scott's ex- wife's new husband Jenni only found out when Anthea came to see the farm reopening she didn't even know he was married and Millie had never liked him she only ever liked Scott the vet I was sad Millie had died but liked the fact her spirit was still there as too was Cissy's and that Scott and Jenni found each other

This is the first time I have written a review about a book but on this occasion I felt I just had to.
This book was nothing like what I was expecting! I had to finish it last night and I had tears streaming down my face so needed to know how it finished. A story of love of which I was expecting but not the love for a dog as well! I would love to say more but don’t want to spoil it for anyone that wants to read it. I loved it ❤️

Lilac Mills is a master wordsmith with the ability to show you the picture and live the story.
I have read four of her books and intend to read every one.
Her books are stand alone with no ghastly cliffhangers.

As I recently lost my beloved dog this book made me cry but it was a good read. Any dog lover will appreciate the telling of the love for and loss of a canine friend.
