This song makes you feel like you are under a warm golden sun. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it after one listen. It's incredibly smooth and Matisyahu has an almost soothing voice. The beats are very relaxing. They aren't heavy, yet they aren't light. Great combination of vocals and composition for an enjoyable, mood boosting listen!

Much has been written about Matisyahu's "new look" after shaving off his beard and sometimes going without his head covered after years of an exclusively Chassidic look. Put that all aside and pick up his new album and specifically this new single "Sunshine." I believe this is one of his best songs yet and that is from someone who has a ton of really great songs including "One Day" and many others. This song is incredibly uplifting and the video that goes along with it is very worthwhile. I highly recommend it.

Matis delivers another divinely-inspired work in a beautiful fusion of his earlier and current sounds. "Reach for the sky," indeed! Toda!

I've always enjoyed the fun, light, upbeat sounds of Reggae, but Matisyahu brings it to a whole new level. His lyrics are always awesome and I love that I don't have to worry about whether or not the song is about getting high or something because he always has good messages in his songs. Sunshine is probably my favorite of all of his songs. I love the sound and feeling behind it and the lyrics rock. This song is fun and positive and overall it just makes me happy.

I first loved the raw sound of Matisyahu in his Live at Stubbs album. Yes, of course that album was RAW sounding because it IS a live album; nevertheless you can still hear the strong influences of reggae and folk in his music. Sunshine seems like a departure from those influences as it is heavy with production and synthetic sounds. It is almost disappointing but the song itself is quite catchy and uplifting.

This song surprised me, I didn't know I would like it that much until I heard it with a pair of good speakers. Lyrics is good and the music is great. Love it.
