I initially thought this was going to be some perfume-heavy soap catering to women - I was wrong. While you do smell the lavender, it is not overpowering and the vegetable-based soap does feel good on your skin. While many people may balk at the higher price in comparison to the bars of soap you can purchase at say a Wal-Mart, I will say these bars are much thicker / dense / compacted more than what you are used to and aren't filled with as much fluff as the national brands.

Doesn't agitate my plaque psoriasis

Looking for soap that either: cleans skin but doesn't agitate psoriasis or aggressively cleans plaque build-up. This soap doesn't do the later as well as I'd like but does the the former well enough.

I don't really like the smell though. It doesn't quite smell the same as my old tea-tree shampoo or the bottle of tea tree essential oil I found, and the smell... I'm positive I've smelled it before in the public toilets in the sierra nevada mountains, as in the smell they add to the septic tanks to keep the odor under control. As a result I associate the smell with sewage. The smell is especially bad while showering, when it mixes with body odor.

I think this is just my problem though, just my brain messing with me. It's still good soap, just kinda weird.

The first thing i cut with this was carrots, while it cut them okay i could not get the orange stains off the white plastic, i used boiling water and tried scrubbing and rubbing those stains are permanent, also if you like your julienne slices nice and long this is not for you but if you like mini ones that is what you get which is not what i wanted. going to return and get a stainless steel slicer, cutter, dicer.
Would also like to add if you want to slice onions or potatoes they will have to be small ones as the chute is not very big.
