As to the episodes, these are the hour-long ones with Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog. I prefer these to the Wonder Twin episodes in later seasons, which include four shorter stories in each episode and seem less well-written. (We got one volume from each season.) I watched both when I was a kid and had fond memories of them, which is why I figured my son would like them.
Watching these brought back memories of being 8 or 9 years old and breathlessly awaiting Saturday morning so I could get my Super Friends fix.
