This dragged quite a bit for some reason. A lot of things were over-explained as though the audience was expected to be slow-witted children. And there was too much blather about how fungi were going to help humanity solve many of it's pollution and complexity problems. I felt I was being propagandized to embrace a rosy future for mankind. One example is the Great Green Wall project in north Africa, which according to Wikipedia is still only a pipe dream.
I just wanted to learn about the natural world as it exists independently of mankind. And the narrator, Nicholas Mead, sounded too much like John 'Johnny Rotten' Lydon. He also had peculiar and distracting pronunciations of words such as 'epitome', 'volcanic', 'molecular' and 'distributing'. Perhaps English is not his first language?
