For the online games, it’s one player per system. You can’t even play two player on the extra versions without online players. I feel like I wasted $65 :( it does say one player per system at the very bottom of the screen, but I was so jazzed about 20+ players that I missed that part. It almost feels like false advertising

New boards and minigames are great as well as the returning ones. The Jamboree Buddy mechanic is also a fun new twist to the game which let's you take the same action twice. I do miss Diddy Kong and Dry Bones who are both absent as playable characters in this game, but they did introduce Pauline and Ninji which are great additions.
