It works, so there is that. Unfortunately, I have to keep either one of my power bricks about 2/3 in the socket, or else it doesn't work. Maybe this one, in particular, was bad. It's better than the console not working.

Amazon is funny sometime, it wanted to know how much fun this game is... I gave that a 3, based on how much I enjoyed removing the old power jack and soldering in the new one. It's a little tricky to install, so be careful if you're pretty new to repairing electronics. Be sure to remove as much solder from the pins and pads as possible before removing the old jack. Use a desoldering pump and a wick or braid to clean up all the excess solder, fluxing first also helps. You will have to place stress on the PCB and the AV/RF jacks when removing the old one, too much stress and you can break a solder point or worse. If you do end up breaking something though, don't feel too bad about it, we always learn from our mistakes, just remember what not to do for next time. After you get the broken one removed you have to put the new one back in, which seemed slightly easier.
The product works great after its installed, and it looks exactly like the original, fits perfectly, DOES NOT MAKE COFFEE. If your SNES power jack is broken this is the permanent fix, I highly recommend it!

Fits like original, brought old game console back to life. It does require some soldering to install, also requires taking console apart. Word of advice, also buy the tools to remove screws at the same time unless you already have them.

Fit perfectly in the SNES I was repairing, and matches color perfectly as well. Be advised that to replace this part, you will need a soldering, solder, and flux! It involves desoldering the original power input jack and soldering this one in its place. The joints are huge though; don't be afraid that it's out of your league. It's the easiest console repair I've performed to date.

All you need to fix your broken SNES is basic circuitry knowledge and a few tools. My SNES used to need a rubber band to secure the power cord. Until one day I got tired of using it and ordered this. In just a short while, it was up and running like new again. Just make sure to also get the snes screwdriver for their specific screws and have basic knowledge of how to solder.

Was able to repair my SNES with ease and I have no soldering skills whatsoever.

I have used these to repair about 10 consoles at this point.
The plastic could be better and the leads feel flimsy but that doesn't matter once you get it soldered in. Busted power ports is a common problem with SNES's and this is currently the best solution out there.

Didn't fit correctly. I'm not completely sure why something that exists that can me copied has copies like this that arn't the same size. Doesn't make sense to me.

Didn't work, could be a solder issue but haven't been able to get it functioning after all this time.
