I bought Street Fighter 4 when it first came out, I used the regular PS3 controller. When Super Street FIghter 4 came out I decided to try out the arcade stick. This stick is a must have for any serious Street Fighter gamer! I love it!!! At first I had trouble pulling off Hadokens, but after a couple hours of practice with it the arcade stick just felt natural. My online battle score has improved as well. No regrets with this stick,if I had to complain about anything it would be that it's not wireless but the cord is so long that it doesn't really make a difference.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this stick. I've been using it for almost two years now and I haven't had any broken parts or any problems so far. This is my first stick as well. I use it primarily for Marvel vs Capcom 3...there is a bit of a learning curve when you first begin to use it but once you get used to it (took me about 6 months to get fully comfortable) you'll be pulling off the most difficult combos with ease and perfection. Sometimes you mess up but it's not the stick...it's you. lol.

I'm very impressed on the quality of the stick. It comes with a long cable about 15 feet. I tried it last night and found myself learning how to play all over again I'm so used to the PS3 controller that I found myself trying to figure the button layout. Once I started getting warmed up I noticed how much easier and precise it was to pull the moves. Practice is the key! It will take time no doubt. This is the first fight stick i ever bought and dont regret it.

I use used to play Street Fighter back in the days in the arcades and stopped at Super Street Fighter II Turbo so its been a while since I played with a joystick. I never got into all the other street fighter games and put off gaming in general for years.When I got back into gaming,I got into the FPS genre and Medal of Honor then the Call of Duty series. So when I heard about Street Fighter IV with the new graphics but with that old school feel to it with the classic characters, I knew I had to jump on it to see if I still got it.I felt I suffered a little using the PS3 controller and now with Super Street Fighter IV coming out, I knew i had to get a joystick. So I didn't hold back and went with the best.As I said its been a while since playing with a joystick so there will be some getting use to but I'm warming up fast and will be ready when the new game comes out.
The stick feels great! Its well built and looks nice too!It actually seems as if a chunk of an arcade machine was cut out and modified for home use.Love it!I will say though that the square gate throws me off a little so I'll probably replace that with an octagon one.From what I understand its easy.If your a Street Fighter fan or have any of those classic arcade games downloaded on your PS3 like the Namco collection with Galaga and Pac-Man, you should definitely get this joystick!

I ordered this too play arcade stick on the 26th and it came pretty fast. I got it for Both my PS3 and ps4 it works well with both. Only down side on the ps4 is that your controller has too be on at all times.

I have just started playing SSF4 and had my eye on a Mad Catz stick for sometime. What sold me this one was the picture, its absolutely fantastic to look at and oozes style to the envy of your mates. The colours are bright and the finish first rate (the box it comes in is cool as well).

Playing wise the stick totally transformed my ability to enjoy the game for far longer periods of time (my hands used to hurt trying to get out the combs with the dual shock). The quality of the whole package is top notch, buttons, joy stick, the solid feel, everything is fast and highly responsive. I can see why the pros use them as well.

I'm only a small time player but very keen, only buy this if you really want to learn to play and commit the time, thereby justifying the cost.
