First and foremost, this movie is NOT a blur-ray DVD. it's a bootleg transferred from VHS and burned onto a Blur-ray disc. The quality is as bad as it gets and the scanned is even worst. The movie was zoomed in while scanned and re-record to the disc.
In another words, the people do not look proportional ( people are thin and tall or long faces) and lots of the edges were cut off. I can tell that because some part has subtitle and half of the subtitle were cut off or way below the tv screen.
There's no subtitle and no different audio in the movie. It's a dubbed movie but looks like a bootleg from Miramax copy. At the begin of the movie, it said Media Asia presented but it's a very blurried so it can't be Media Asia version nor Miramax version.
The movie doesn't even worth $5.00. You can tell right away it's a bad movie by the cover: all pictures are all crooked, unprofessional printed, and used Miramax cover to do the back cover.
If you want the nice clear movie, go to your public library reserved the Miramax version. It's free and good picture qualities.
I have never complain about anything I bought from Amazon before but this is the first time and I hope it's the last time that I have to complain, write bad review.
I gave 1 star because I can't give any lower star. :(

Editorial Reviews
Martial arts icons Jackie Chan (Forbidden Kingdom) and Michelle Yeoh (The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor) are at their absolute peak in this freewheeling, action-packed adventure. A once-in-a-lifetime one-two punch, they team up as a risk-taking cop and a strait-laced but beautiful federal agent, working undercover together to take down an international drug ring. Risking life and limb, Chan and Yeoh perform their own incredible stunts, dangling from a soaring helicopter, leaping onto careening cars, and delivering beat-downs on the roof of a speeding train. Fast-paced, innovative, and entertaining, Supercop (aka Police Story 3) captures two legends at their best, in "a movie that will never be equaled" (LoveHKFilm.com).

Don't be fool by the vendor, it's not Blurray. It's probably a bootleg and poor quality.

First off, I love the movie "Supercop." I saw it back in 1994 at an independent movie theater. I didn't even know who Jackie Chan was. The movie was hilarious and action packed, and I became an instant Jackie Chan fan.
However this Dimension Blu-Ray is sadly lacking. First, it has no Chinese audio track. It only has an English dub. I always like to enjoy movies in their original language, but what makes it worse is that I'm a bit hard of hearing, so I miss quite a few words of this mediocre English dub.
Second, it has no subtitles. I would have at least liked subtitles to help me understand the audio track. (One of the reasons I buy movies on Blu-Ray is to have subtitles because of my less-than-good hearing.)
If you just want the movie for the action and nothing more, then this is a good version. But if you enjoy movies in their original language with subtitles, then skip this one.

An exhilarating and funny action sting!
Stanley Tong’s Police Story 3: Super Cop (1992) lacks the masterful direction and killer pacing of Jackie Chan’s first 2 Police Story films; however, Super Cop is a blistering action thriller. Super Cop’s stunts are dangerous and varied with exotic locales for each scene. Any action movie fans will surely be entertained by Chan’s lightning fast kung fu and hilarious comedic gags.
Tong’s direction is solid, if not as creative as the Chan’s direction for Police Story and Police Story 2. Tong does take you through Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Malaysia. The gorgeous natural scenery is always nice to look at through all the explosions and gunfire. Unfortunately, there’s too much emphasis on bombs and guns compared to sheer kung fu fights. The hand to hand combat that is here is wonderful at least.
Jackie Chan is delightful returning as Chan Ka-Kui, the super cop of Hong Kong. He kicks and punches his way through prison camps, in villages, clinging to helicopters, and on trains. Jackie Chan is simply the greatest stunt man who ever lived. He really performs his own stunts as proven by Super Cop’s ending credits.
Michelle Yeoh is fantastic as Interpol Inspector Yang Chien-Hua. She’s stern and strict, yet humorous next to Chan’s silly persona. Her chemistry with Jackie Chan on screen as action partners is really cool. She pulls of masterful kung fu and crazy stunts. Yeoh jumps a motorbike onto a moving train! She is as impressive as Jackie Chan blow for blow.
Maggie Cheung returns as Chan’s girlfriend May from the first 2 Police Stories. She is so sweet and innocent, but pulls off a funny upset shtick with Chan every time he shows up where he’s not supposed to be. Cheung rolls with the punches as she gets pushed into a pool, thrown out a helicopter, and shoved around. It’s amazing she didn’t get more seriously injured for Super Cop. Cheung has an endearing quality and is lovely as usual. Her romantic chemistry with Chan is palpable. I think Maggie Cheung grounds the Police Story series with a genuine human element.
Lastly, the legendary Lo Lieh has a neat cameo as a Malyasian general and drug lord. Bill Tung returns for another funny role as deputy commissioner and Chan’s boss. Also, I have to mention the fierce Yuen Wah as the devious villain Panther. He’s a fun antagonist for Chan to contend with and another foil like Yeoh.
Overall, Super Cop is not a mesmerizing as Police Story or Police Story 2, but Michelle Yeoh’s addition makes this movie a blast to watch.

This was the first in a series of movies Jackie Chan released and it is by far the best of the lot. It pairs Chan with Michelle Yeoh in an undercover mission to infiltrate a notorious criminal’s network and bring it down. What sets it apart from many of Chan’s other releases was that the story was much more serious. Yes they had fun but it wasn’t like many of his movies where they are just going to goof off the entire time.
What’s so good about it is that the action and the comedy are some of the best that Chan did. For example right at the start they have some fun with the role as Chan has to pose as a Chinese national. He can’t remember his background and when they take pictures he starts messing around making faces for the camera. Right afterward Yeoh makes Chan spar with a police martial arts instructor.
Michelle Yeoh early on in her movie career did all of her own fighting scenes and stunts and she really got to shine here. They would be put into all kinds of crazy situations involving a helicopter, a motorcycle and a moving train in the climax. Chan rarely had a female co-star who could stand up to him but Yeoh could.
These are all reasons why Supercop is one of Chan’s best movies and is my personal fav.

If you know Jackie Chan, you know this is a good movie.
I just want to make it clear: there is only one audio channel - dubbed in English. The dub is better than some because Jackie does his own lines and speaks very good English, but it's not idea.
There is no "native language" with subtitles option for the DVD.

Jackie Chan Does A Great Job Of Entertaining Us Once Again...
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 28, 2013Verified Purchase
The plot is simple, Kung-Fu, Kung-Fu & even more Kung-Fu. With Jackie's expert vision and mastery of his art, he weavers his way through the adventure finding out who the bad guys are then getting rid of them. His timing with the stunts he pulls are an entertainment of their own without the story and he lets us laugh at him while doing some very technical and difficult gags, (Stunts to the lay-person). I didn't appreciate his early work as I was not into badly dubbed Chinese movies, but over the years and seeing more of his work has made me appreciate how hard he works and his boyish comical trait that endears him to those that give him the chance to entertain you.

YEOH AT HER BEST
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 20, 2015Verified Purchase
Thematic underdevelopment notwithstanding, this is a fine display of veritable martial arts’ skills that passes the time extremely well.
Michelle YEOH is both excellent and believable as a fearless supercop whose balletic grace and willingness to do her own stunts puts her in a class of her own.

Misleading Title - Not Police Story 3
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 8, 2015Verified Purchase
The film Supercop is a decent action flick with some great martial arts sequences. The DVD also contains some neat special features. However, the title of the film is misleading. This film is not Police Story 3 - Supercop which I was lead to believe. It is Project S (Once a Cop), a spin-off based on Michelle Yeoh's character in Police Story 3. Jackie Chan's appearance is a cameo. Would still recommend to fans of Hong Kong action cinema.

Good, but not for 'real' Jackie Chan fans.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 28, 2017Verified Purchase
This is not even close to the quality of Supercop 2 & 3. For Jackie Chan fans, his participation hardly warrants his name being on the movie cover.
