I like these flip flops. They have much better arch support than most footwear of this type. I have had problems with my feet for years. Mainly a high arch and the pain and tightness that goes along with that. I'm not going to sit here and say that these solve all of those problems, but they're better than most flip flops. Especially in this price range.
The faux leather feels pretty good. The strap is secure on my foot. My natural step is much more athletic in these shoes than in most other flip flops. I can confidently step up and forward knowing that the shoe is going to stay on my foot. The strap is a bit further back than others I've worn, but I think this leads to the security and confidence in my step. The sole of these is also quite solid. Much more than most. I can comfortably ride a bike in these and have a solid platform to push against. It's nice for rocky terrain as well. The grip is also pretty decent.
Overall these are a solid footwear choice that look minimal, perform well and inspire a more athletic step.

I was a little baffled that many reviewers found the sandal either too big or too small when purchasing their regular size and I know why. I wear size 12 and ordered size 12 and the arch fits correctly, but there is lots of room for the toes and not enough for the heels. It's an odd toe thong location. Not my foot, not the prettiest foot out there but I have plenty of sandals that all fit well and never even considered something like this could be a problem. It is, sort of, might send them back.
