The author says: “…you have to accept the fact that you are not capable of solving your weight problems alone and that you need help.” How true is that? If everyone knew half as much as they say, no one would be overweight (or weak, out of shape or even ugly). Face it, help is needed.
Been there done that. While telling truths, here is one of mine. I don’t trust a skinny chef or an overweight diet counselor. God bless Oprah for all of the good she has done in the world. As brilliant as she is, I wouldn’t ask her for weight loss advice. The author has been there done that. He tells his story and it makes sense.
Five Stars? Yes! I gave this book five stars for the content. You will learn excellent information from someone who really knows his stuff. It earned the five stars. If you are the kind of person that is really bothered by typos, then you will probably disagree with my rating. There are a number of typos – my opinion is to fly right past them and pay attention to what you are learning. A typo won’t make my life better. The content in this book can. For me there is no contest.
Superfoods? Yes! Yes! The author goes past those superfoods that are: 1. Hard to find, 2. Expensive with a vengeance, 3. You can’t live on. He built his program on foods anyone can find in regular stores – um, all of us. (you see why the five stars is really appropriate?)
This review could go on and on – check the table of contents to see how many important health and wright loss issues are covered.
And finally, the how-to part. There are lots of recipes. Enough to get you on the road to a regular healthy diet that you can live with.
Last comment: I’m personally headed over to read the other three superfoods books now available. Based on this book I am excited about what I’ll learn.
This is a wonderful book, trying to make the most of taking the smart choices in your plate. The vast majority of the foods on this one are quite tasty.
This book is an important and blessed step in a world not yet ready to realize it's eating itself to oblivion.
In this book the author shares from his personal body transformation and diet change (pictures included).
It is being described how processed food and wheat can harm your body all around, and what should you do in order to get much healthier, prettier (yes!) and much skinnier.
The book is divided very well to chapters, which are very comprehensive. The book is not short and contain a lot of information, don't read it all at once. But yet the book is easy to read. Prepare to be educated! Highly recommended!
and then goes on to reveal a lot of diet secrets that can really help us take our weight loss efforts
to another level. The book explains different aspects of dieting pretty well and provides a complete
diet plan. It had so much information it it that I had to read it thrice to absorb everything that it offered.
It consists of some really great recipes that are tasty to eat and healthy as well.
