Both the writing and the art are TERRIBLE. The book is SO bad that nothing happens on the first chapters of it. Is later (after the 3rd chapter, I believe) that things start taking shape... and not in a good way.
I read somewhere else that the story of this book takes place after "Our Worlds at War" storyline. Although chronologically makes sense, when the characters refers as "the war" in past tense, they could be referring to any event.
The dialog is SO boring and, in some parts, the continuity is kind of senseless.
The art is like a bad 90's comic reproduction. All square, and the designs for ships, armors, clothing is lame. Coloring is bad too.
So far this book doesn't connect any story of any DC title with anything. I sugest (only if you must read it), to do it online or ask it borrowed before thinking in purchase it.
The book is B-A-D. You've been warned.
