A really cool release for those that have kindle. I liked the colors, and the story wasn't all that bad. I got this one for free, and really do admire DC and others that are trying to put out more digital copies of comic books. They are very well received, and interesting to look at in digital formats, rather than paper.

I tried reading this on my ipod touch first so I could look at the comics in full color. It's just too small on this device unless you use a high power magnifying glass I suppose. Then I tried it on my Kindle Touch. It's still too small and black and white stinks for comics that were originally full color anyway. Then I installed Kindle for PC thinking that that was the solution but it is NOT COMPATIBLE which is ridiculous and Amazon needs to fix that asap.

I don't own a Kindle Fire but I assume you can view comic downloads there. I would suggest that you only download this or any other Kindle comic book compilation if you own the larger Kindle Fire otherwise you will be very disappointed. Giving it 5 stars because it looked good (microscopically) on my ipod touch and I'm sure it will also on a big Fire.

This was the first issue in a long running comic book series that allowed the Superman titles to be released weekly back in the day, & the beauty of this was that they told a cohesive story that ran from one title to the next. This issue featured as solid story and great art, which declined in quality as the title continued. Overall, a solid read.

I've always been a Marvel guy (except for The Flash, he's always been one of my favourites) but these free Superman comics are getting their hooks in. This was a good story, nice action. Ends with "to be continued" but that's okay. I might actually try to find the next one....

A Superman comic for free is very nice. Louise Simonson is a terrific writer and producer of comics along with her husband Walt. Anytime I can get a Superman or Batman comic for free it is a no brainer.

I'd like more free full story comics from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse (Conan) and it doesn't matter to me how old they are. The older the better!

This type of publication doesn't work well on the Paperwhite.
Very awkward to read and turned out to be a wasted effort.
