"In this charming adventure story, Superman is thrust into the timestream where he bounces around different eras while trying to get his way back home. Dan Jurgens, Roger Stern, and Jerry Ordway [told] great "done in one" stories of Superman in different time periods, including the past (World War II), the PAST past (Superman versus dinosaurs) and the future (Superman teams up with the Legion of Super-Heroes at two very different points in their lives). The art was by Jurgens and Brett Breeding, Bob McLeod, and Ordway and Dennis Janke." -- Brian Cronin
"A great adventure through time...when Superman used to be a good character." -- Juan Jose

now you may wonder why i did not give this book 5 stars, well it's very minor reasons overall, see the book opens with lois and clark talking about an incident that happen last issue, where he told her his secret, now to me it was ok since i own that issue, but to a new reader, it might have been nice to have that issue, but then againit was not part of the time and time again story arc, like i said minor.
second thing is the last issue is a part of an issue only, in it he returned and had to fight baron sunday a voodoo baddie, we only get the wrap up to T&TA arc from that issue, and while i understand why they did that, i hate when only a few pages are collected from a single issue, i say throw in the other 10, give us the fight (and it was a good story BTW) and action.
but overall i love this book, my faveorite era of superman (and i have read all the different eras) stories, with great art, action, drama, comedy...so if your a superman fan then get this!
accidently thrown through time by a temporal explosion with no control of where he goes.
Only powerful explosions can send him to other eras. On his journey he saves FDR, meets Merlin the magician, encounters a dinosaur, and witnesses the destruction of .... well,
buy this book to find out! It has it all!
Great art from everyone, especially Dan Jurgens and Jerry Ordway.
