The Sherwin-Williams Company (Dupli-Color, VHT, Krylon)
Let me start by saying that I was so happy and eager to apply this product. I used Christmas money to purchase this product and waited patiently for months for the weather to open up and for the opportunity to apply the product. In the meantime, I watched several videos online (mainly their own) and was very familiar with what I needed to do. I also read all the directions on the can and any supporting documentation that came with the product. Make no mistake ... when the time came to apply it, I was very prepared and knew exactly what to do. Per their recommendations, I applied 10 coats to each tire. I used the prep spray first, did the light coats in the beginning and then did the "wet coats." The initial result was beautiful. The wheels were absolutely stunning. I could not wait to get these mounted. Within just a few days, there were big chucks that were peeling off. I had a little left over product in my last can, so I touched them up. Didn't matter. It just did it again. I wrote to the company, sent them some photos, and they wrote back and said they had a chance to look at the photos and deduced that I probably didn't apply the product correctly -- which I completely disagree with, because I used their own videos and instructions as my guide. Plus, they weren't there. That's a heck of a conclusion to reach. Their remedy was to send me a 50% off coupon so that I could re-purchase the product, take off the wheels, peel off the old stuff, and start all over again. No thanks. They were very nice and very professional, so I have no issues with the communication. It's just that I have lost confidence in the product and don't believe it can deliver. You can see the photos that I have attached. This is just after 2 weeks of normal driving. I really, really wanted this product to work. Maybe it does for others. But it clearly failed here.

The only thing I dislike is waiting for the humidity to drop enough to use.
As long as you follow the directions and follow prep and climate instructions it comes out perfect. 🤌

Maybe just stick to rim use only

First of all the only reason I got these was because of the yellow color since my gf liked it, and it's her fav. The purpose of this was to do the lettering as you can see in the pictures. I've used plasti dip and rustoleum peel coat before and never had a problem and the actual paint was thinker and better quality. The reason I say this is because I applied 5 coats of white in order for the yellow to stand out and later applied 4 coats of yellow. I taped everything really good and when time to peel off the extra, it took bits of the actual paint of the car, even with all those coats it didn't peel off as easy as the other brands, I had to peel off everything little by little literally, and it still was very thing layer. This is a 2021 camry so you can imaginate how mad my gf got at me when I had to tell her. I've done this process to other cars we've had before and never had an issue so I know for a fact it's not something I did wrong. I'm just writing this to let other people know to maybe just stick to painting the rims with these paints, because since it's all metal it might be different. Overall it's not a bad look and I liked the color but not happy at all of the outcome. Now I gotta spend more money fixing that at a shop.

So far it seems to adhere and look really good,
decent gloss considering most spray vinyls have a matte look. I'll have to see how long it lasts but application was nice and it looks great currently

Painted beadlocks and this stuff looks great, absolutely no flaws and looks just like powdercoat. I would order an extra can or 2 to be safe. I ended up doing 9 coats and ran out, instructions say todo 10 coats.
