It may be delusion but I seem to sleep much better and have more energy since starting the zinc supplementation. I also take vitamin d, magnesium and cod liver oil but the zinc was a late addition and the benefits seem noticeable. This is not medical advice, just an anecdote. I take Zinc as part of my regime to keep my chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia under control.

If in doubt as to the reason you should take Zinc, look up the benefits of it. Amongst things is diabetes something that seems to be getting out of control.

There are lots of vegetables and legumes etc., that have Zinc, however, not in the real amount that your body needs it.

Simply Supplements are very trustworthy and I find that I'm buying most of my supplements through them.

easy to swallow small tablets. Taking to much can cause problems -- so best to check whatever stuff you are also taking in case there is zinc in the list. 15 mg is the best dose- apparently.
