They were perfect for what I needed them for! I lined my vocal sound booth with them!! Nice , tight and dead sounding in there ... perfect for tracking vocals! They are super big so I could overlapped as I draped them on each side of the both, made for more soundproofing effect! They didn't have too bad of a smell either which was a concern of mine, so I'm happy about that!!

Maybe I got a fluke

My set of blankets seem to be weaker than those others have received. I used the blankets for the first time over a weekend to cover a floor and to dampen sound while moving equipment (nothing bulky or especially sharp, mostly footsteps), and the top, quilted layers of two of the blankets ripped in multiple places, as if someone had cut them with a knife. Fuzzy material from the insides of the blankets now falls out of the gashes and makes a mess wherever the blankets are stored, so I will have to either patch or tape the holes up to prevent them from leaking further.

My other two blankets served their purpose well and came out unscathed, so maybe I received a couple with loose stitching (or maybe the gashes were already there, and I just didn't notice them when I opened the original package). Either way, I bought these to be used and reused, so they were bound to get beaten up; I was just hoping they would last longer than one gig.

UPDATE: These blankets shed every time I touch them. My car is covered in blue flecks from the fabric that ripped. I don't know how you would efficiently move furniture with these, as they ripped so easily. I'm going to have to donate them or give them to someone to use for fabric/crafts. These absolutely were not worth the price for me.

I'm using these for sound deadening in my baby son's room. His room has a huge window facing the front yard and between lawn maintenance and delivery trucks, naps were basically impossible. The blankets are very heavy and do an excellent (budget) job of softening outside noises. I can't speak to the durability, as they haven't moved since I hung them up but for my purpose they're great.

These will work well for my project. They are mid-weight in design and will do an adequate job of protecting my vehicle interior for roadtrips with camping gear, dog, etc in tow. I wouldn't suggest these for heavy moving projects or repeated, daily usage. But for the "Average Joe" needing some basic protection of this kind, these are a good buy. Low chemical smell as others have reported. The kind you would associate with new, synthetic materials. I didn't find it intrusive, but I'm also a realist and understand that synthetic materials such as these will have a low to moderate smell for some time until allowed to breathe. They seem adequately constructed/sewn for their duties. Priced right.

If you're looking for something to offer dent and ding protection do not get these. I was under the impression they would be about 1/4" thick of padded material. They are not, more like 3/32". I didn't notice any odor, but I did notice irregularities in the dye. It'll likely leach all over everything if they get wet. For the cost I'll keep them for emergency blankets, but useless as I intended for emergency hail protection on my truck.

Make Very Good Furniture Protectors When the Grand-dogs Visit

I was looking for something to throw over a sofa and a loveseat to keep the dog hairs off, and these have done very well for that purpose. I washed them on the "light" cycle and dried them on low and they held up very well. They are light- weight compared to some moving blankets, but heavier than many quilted "furniture throws", and don't seem to shrink as easily as the quilted furniture throws. A good value for my purpose, and extremely fast delivery too.

I was helping a friend move using my SUV. I didn't want to damage the interior so purchased this set. While I wasn't doing anything too big, they did the job quite well! I have a 2020 Kia Sorento. I folded down the back 2 rows of seats and one blanket covered from the rear to the back of the driver seats and up the sides slightly, so they are quite big. That made me really happy! They aren't really heavy duty, so sharp items or heavy use might tear or damage them, but all in all, they seem to do good for normal moves and protecting furniture, or in my case, my interior.
I ordered the 4 pack, so I was also able to give my dad a couple for his own personal use.

We've had these a couple of months and use them primarily to protect the seats of our new car from our dogs. They've held up very well so far. Pretty heavy duty and comparable to what we've used when we've moved our furniture. So far, no damage or fraying despite use by two large and not very well behaved German Shepherds. I'd recommend.
