Single- & Dual-Output LED Flashlights

The G2X LE is designed to meet the needs of law enforcement professionals with a higher 400 lumens maximum output of blinding light, along with a low 15 lumens output of useful light.

Compare with similar items
Specially designed to meet the needs of law enforcement professionals, the SureFire G2X LE is a higher-output version of our best-selling G2X Pro that leads with high output on its first press or click. It features a high-performance LED that generates a max output of 400 lumens of blinding white light focused by a parabolic reflector into a versatile beam with significant reach and ample surround light for maintaining good situational awareness, crucial in law enforcement. At its lower output the G2X LE produces a useful 15-lumen beam that provides extended runtime on a set of batteries, for tasks that don’t require as much light.
A click-style tactical tailcap switch controls the light’s output--simply press or click to unleash all 400 lumens in momentary- or constant-on mode, an important feature for law enforcement applications where instant access to maximum output provides a tactical advantage. Return to off and press or click again within two seconds for G2X LE’s lower-output 15-lumen beam.
Featuring a lightweight, durable Nitrolon polymer body designed for a secure hold, a Mil-Spec hard-anodized aluminum head, and O-rings and gasket seals to keep out moisture and dust, the G2X LE is as rugged as it is functional. It makes an ideal duty light for anyone who wears a badge-or a perfect everyday-carry light for anyone who demands a professional-grade flashlight that’ll take on just about any situation.

Boy, did this new "LE" model disappoint me. The LED quality is terrible. Look at the picture I posted. To the left is my Surefire G2X Pro (320 lumen) and to the right is the Surefire G2X LE (400 lumen). The pure white output of the Pro is far superior than this green crap the LE puts out. These are the LEDs that the cheap Chinese flashlights come with! And is the LE even brighter? I honestly can't tell a difference being that the pure white light of the Pro is so much clearer that I can actually see further with it. Shame on you Surefire for going cheap....
Surefire completely replaced my entire flashlight free of charge for the same model but made sure the one they gave me gave out a light with a pure white tint. And boy did it. It's not warm, it's not cool, it's perfect. Surefire, you had me worried, but you pulled through!
I was unable to get pictures of the two "LE"s side by side. But trust me, if you experience any bad tint with Sirefire just hit them up!
Now I may have just received a bad one but there is another review that has also included pictures that show a similar light coming from the G2X.
So either Surefire is producing an inferior product or their quality control is lacking.
I've contacted Surefire about my G2X and my review will be updated once a resolution has been reached.
Well after emailing Surefire's customer service I've lost all faith in Surefire.
First: They were more concerned about pointing out that the G2X LE is NOT Weapon rated and any damaged caused by mounting to a weapon is NOT covered under warranty.
Second: They assumed the Polytac and the G2X output the same amount of lumens and that my G2X is just fine. Even though in my email I let them know that the Polytac was only 120 lumens.
Lastly: The email didn't seem professional or that they even cared. It ended with "there isn't anything we can do at this point."
So my advice would be stay clear of the G2X LE..
