Great reading, beautiful women. The book includes great images of the magical, whimsical art that is Carrington and Varo, as well as the truly surreal and great photography of Horna. My only wish would be that it were bigger.

Surreal Friends has reproductions of work by artists I had never gotten to see before. I am particularly interested in
Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo. The latter I have books for; the former I have been able to see only recently
