how can you call this a christian book when it's all about stashing food for yourself and using knives and guns to kill your neighbors? have you forgotten Jesus told us not to worry about what we will eat or drink? have you forgotten Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves? the author needs to repent if he wants to survive eternity.
this books should have never been written. I am deeply ashamed I bought it. I didn't pay close enough attention to what it is really about.

Insane spending by past and current administrations has led the world into staggering debt. Paying back the loans and interest gathered in the attempt to spend our way out of that debt has become impossible. The demise of the dollar is looming, poised to die in a flaming, downward spiral. When it hits bottom, the United States will fall into chaos, plunging to a third-world status. Food, gas, and most everything else will become drastically more expensive, coupled with a rise in crime. Hollywood has painted an image of this future as an apocalyptic world filled with mutant, “Mad Max”-type biker gangs and zombies—and the masses have bought into it. In this book, the author refutes this and takes examples from history as well as from a Christian, biblical standpoint showing what you can do to prepare. Is your family prepared to Survive The Coming Storm?

Written from a biblical perspective. I took a lot out of this book in regards to surviving the coming storm. In fact I read it twice. I'm not fearful of zombies. I'm slightly more concerned with our enemies hitting us with an EMP/nuclear attack. What I'm mostly concerned with is a complete and utter financial breakdown. As I write this, this nation is about to hit $16,000,000,000,000.00 (That's $16 trillion dollars) in national debt. At this rate, there will come a point in time when our creditors will say no more borrowing. You'll see sky rocketing inflation, austere measures being made, and at that point in time, things will become very difficult. This generation has not seen what a great depression looks like. Our grandparents who are in their 90's can recall. Anyways, enough diatribe and back to the book...I would highly this book to others. Ray Gano has a nice discussion on how we should be the sheep dog as opposed to a wolf or a sheep. Excellent ideas regarding firearms, ammunition, storage, etc. Hope this helps you make a decision.

This book connects the dots between what is said in Scriptures vs what we should be doing right now in preparing for whatever lays on the horizon. None of us can know exactly what that might be, but many are predicting multiple events that can affect all of us (if) or when any of them comes about. The book is well written, has a lot of information in it to help a beginner get started with a plan to be prepared for most eventualities. If you are a novice to this particular way of seeing the signs of the times, and you need a basic guide, this is a good, rudamentary guide and an informative book to use to help you sort out where to start to get your house in order. The information in its pages are to the point, and well planned out although, pretty basic. There are very good pointers to keep you on track as you prepare. The religious connotations will please and anchor a reason to be following numerous rationalities to be "getting prepared" if you are so inclined. I would recommend this book for those who are just getting started and might have some misgivings about being a prepper. Regardless of your reasons of beginning to put away some essentials, millions have gotten on board in these uncertain times.
As a Prepper myself, and being very committed to the reasoning behind that idea, I recommend anyone who cares about their families, loved ones and friends to have a comprehensive "Survival Library" to fall back on in those times that lay ahead of all of us. No one can say when that day will come, and what exactly the chain of events or the single instance will be to set the world on a fast track to chaos. You'll need readily available information, food, water, arms and ammunition and a whole host of other tools that will make you self sufficient during those times. Get this book if you are a new person to prepping, you'll be glad you did.

Written from a Christian point of view, this book gives one a good starting point, to prepare, for what is coming. I am an eschatologist and have been for over 35 years. I know what is coming...and soon! Ray Gano's little book gives a person a starting point and truly justifies the correct Christian attitude that we must have for this Coming Storm. I am going to recommend this to all of my students. It seems they tend to not want to believe until they receive the same information from another source, and I need all the help I can get. Believe me, cognitive dissonance will not stave off the wolves when they come. I only wish there were more Ray Gano's out there.

If you're not ready to move to a mountain hideaway and live off the land but need more than a list of things to have on hand in case of a hurricane then this book is for you. If you feel like you need a reason to do something or know you need to do something but don't know where to start, each chapter contains useful, real world information that you can implement immediately. Of particular interest, many tips contained in this book cost little, if anything. As a lifelong and current U. S. Marine, I have been exposed to some but not all of the tactics, techniques and procedures which might be useful in a pinch but the author gave me a new perspective on some things I have already been doing. In most cases, I learned something new.

I enjoyed reading this book. The author writes in a straight-forward, concise manner that gets to the heart of the issues immediately. He lists what it takes to get started being prepared for any emergency that may threaten: weather, pandemic, martial law, or food shortage. I recommend highly to beginner preppers and just thoughtful people.

I read this ebook in several hours as soon as it downloaded. This is so valuable and simplifies survival preparedness better than any others I've seen. Ray Gano covers EVERY aspect of survival from a truly Christian perspective. Ray is a blessing because he shares so clearly what our job is as 'sheep dogs'. Get it! Read it! We are in the end of the last days. There's no time to waste. I also ordered a hard copy, just incase of an electronic pulse attack.

Goo easy reading, down to earth facts and I find that there is to much mention of religion and violence and the endorsement of violence.
