The problem lies in the way that people think that ebola is spread - through bodily fluids but scientists are discovering that this strain appears to be airborne which puts all of us at risk. Why? you may ask. Our world is a very small one now with the amount of air travel that is going on today. Millions of people every day are flying here and there all over the world. All it takes is one infected person on a plane from a possibly infected area and suddenly we're seeing it in the US. There is always a "Patient Zero" - the one person who starts the whole pandemic ball rolling.
Ray explains in simple terms how to prepare yourself for this possible pandemic. This is not a "crazy survivalist" book where you're running around hiding behind trees or in underground bunkers (although there is a lot to be said about having an underground bunker :) ) but ways that regular people going about their regular business can protect themselves from possibly being exposed to this virus.
The CDC has moved this to a Level 1 response - the highest level they have. The last time this happened was in 2009 when the bird flu hit. This is no joke and knowing how to prepare for it and understanding what is going on is essential in keeping you and your family safe from this disease. Ebola sucks, to put it bluntly. You don't want this. Read this and get prepared just in case. It's always better to be prepared for the worse and have nothing happen than to hope for the best and have the worse happen.
This is a quick read and contains a lot of useful information on how to create a sterile environment and a "quarantined" area should a loved one become sick. He also gives you a useful list of herbal and OTC (over the counter) supplements that can help protect you as well.
This book takes you from "Ebola is here - NOW" all the way through what to do if you get sick, if a family member gets sick, how busy and overrun the hospitals are going to get. He just covers all the bases to help you get ready should this turn into a major pandemic.
Worth the $5 in my opinion - worth more if it saves my or my loved ones lives!
We live in a world that is increasingly dependent on others for our own well being. In situation where health care providers could very well be overwhelmed it's a good idea to have your own plan of action prepared to deal with such extenuating circumstances. Ray Gano's Ebola guide offers a wealth of information to do just that.
What I particularly like about this book is it offers great advice which can be used in a multitude of situations. Personally I doubt Ebola will become a global pandemic but only a fool would say it couldn't happen here. Don't freak out, just prepare!
Ebola is a very real threat and not one to be taken lightly. Knowledge is power and in the case of a killer pandemic, preparation can mean the difference between survival and death. When the fire hits your house it is too late to buy fire insurance, and if and WHEN this killer epidemic hits your city, it will be too late to prepare. $5.00 is almost free, but the information will be worth more than gold in coming days. Thumbs up, Ray!
