My only complaint about the case (and this is significant) is that neither my Bose headphones nor my Etymotic earbuds work with it. Both of these headphones have an L-shaped connector which inserts into the top of the iPhone. The plastic which is underneath the rubber exterior of the case extends up too high, preventing the earphones from being inserted all the way into the phone. (I realize that this design is to enable the flap to close tightly over the earphone jack when the earphones are not in use.) The only earphones that work with the case are those with a straight connector such as the earbuds that come with the iPhone. I purchased Skullcandy earbuds which work well. I realize it would have been cheaper to buy a different case, but the protection afforded by the case seems to outweigh the cost of the earbuds.
I was going to complain about the flap that covers the camera lens and the fact that I had to hold it out of the way when using the camera. However, I realized after reading another review that Griffin had actually addressed this issue by putting a tab on the flap which inserts into an indenture in the case and holds it back while using the camera.Read more ›
Threw It away and went and bought a LifeProof case. No bulk and it's waterproof and shock proof.

There have been several upgrades to this particular case. I was expecting the latest version. I don't know where they dug this one up, but I got the OLD version. Wasn't very happy.Published 9 months ago by Amazon Customer
