Survivor: Cook Islands, the thirteenth season, sees the castaways stranded in the middle of the South Pacific. Bringing the diversity of America into center stage, Survivor: Cook Islands, the thirteenth season, sees the castaways stranded in the middle of the South Pacific. Bringing the diversity of America into center stage, Cook Islands features the most ethnically diverse cast ever to be in the game. The initial four tribes are evenly divided according to ethnicity (African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic and White) - the Manihiki, the Aitutaki, the Puka Puka, and the Rarotonga.

The season opens with one castaway “stealing” a chicken and paying a dire price. Then a simple exchange of words is mistaken for a proclamation of love. Later, two castaways change the game when they accept the mutiny offer and choose to leave their own tribe to join the opposition. Things get even more uncertain when one survivor is stranded on Exile Island with little shelter available during a raging storm. Find out what happens and who will be the sole survivor in this DVD set.

When sold by Amazon.com, this product will be manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.

Even though it is hard to pick an exact favorite season of SURVIVOR, I can easily say that this season is in my top 5 along with Africa, Australia, Amazon, and Vanuatu. This season brought me one of my favorite castaways in Jonathan Penner. The whole season was memorable (and it had an amesome logo)!!!

I really hope that it comes out on DVD really really soon!!!

Survivor Cook Islands Places Contestants Into 4 Tribes Based On Ethnicity (African-American, Asian-American, Latino-American, & Caucasian-American). Controversial Season, Memorable Contestants (Parvati, Candace, Jonathon, & Ozzy), And Enjoyable Tribal Councils! A Great Season To Watch!

Owning this so I can watch it over and over, because of the life lesson, "Never Give Up, Never Give In", and to watch the competitor that stays loyal and has won more challenges than anyone in the history of Survivor, is the only way to go, so I do recommend downloading Amazon's Unbox player/downloader instead of streaming it. The HD quality of playback after downloading it is superb. This is the season to own! This is the most talked about season for good reason!

I just rewatched all the episodes from Season 13 and it was one of the best seasons ever. The characters were all so memorable, even the ones who got voted out early, and I normally never remember those who get the first boot. Ozzy was amazing to watch. He could do anything. I loved how the alliances were created and maintained and how the winner was not a shoe-in. It was so close. I was on the edge of my seat to the very end. My entire family loved it.

I've been watching Survivor since the series began and I love every minute of it. I don't even know why I keep tuning in to the drama and the whining, but I have to! It's addicting to say the least.

I especially love seeing all the city slickers that appear on the show and then have absolutely no idea how to survive. It's a great show and worth watching a second time even if you've seen it already.

I'm watching all the Survivor season through Amazon.prime & this is the best season so far that I've watched. I think Ozzy got robbed though & don't know if he was ever invited to come back or not, but should be invited back until he wins, in my mind he should have won.

And, btw, when did you change from giving the 2nd place winner $100,000? I think they should still get that!

I do not know why my thirteen year old daughter will sit and watch these episodes over and over, but she does. Probably for
the same reason I watched the same western movies over and over when I was a kid. Something about the quest, I suppose.
The really cool thing for me is that without commercials each episode is 42 minutes. There are some real lessons about human
behavior: greed, loyalty, jealousy, laziness, etc. And Jeff Probst never patronizes the contestants. He always injects a bit of
reality into an otherwise "scripted" and over edited game show. He remind us that these folks really are on some remote island
for 39 days!
