My Favorite Songs from Susan's Albums

STANDING OVATION (2012)

There is not a single disappointing song on this album, but these are my favorites:

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
The Winner Takes It All
Out Here on My Own
Bring Him Home

All three of the duets are exquisite and beautifully done.

SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME (2011)

Return (song written for Susan by her then-producer Steve Mac & Wayne Hector)
Autumn Leaves

I DREAMED A DREAM (2009)

Who I Was Born to Be (song written specifically for Susan - lyrics by Audra Mae)
Wild Horses (unmatched, haunting rendition of this song)
You'll See
Proud

The duet, "A Mother's Prayer," with Jackie and Susan is absolutely beautiful and powerful. I think it is my favorite of all her duets, although, I love them all. They are all exquisitely done!

I highly recommend the audiobook of Susan's autobiography. Although it is an abridged version of the book, it is great to listen to on a long car trip.

I also purchased the sheet music book of "I Dreamed a Dream." The arrangements are challenging enough to be interesting and are nicely written.

Feel free to share your favorites on this thread! If I've missed anything in the posts above, feel free to post the omissions.

This latest CD-Standing Ovation-is my favorite. I love Susan's "big" voice backed up with the "big" sound of a symphony orchestra. I can envision her standing on stage singing. My favorites are Bring Him Home, Memory, All I Ask Of You, Out Here On My Own, and You'll Never Walk Along. And...how could I leave out As Long As He Needs Me. And Send In The Clowns. Oh, well...might as well say I like ALL the songs!

I agree with you both on SO. If they just do a tiny bit of promo on this around the holidays(all the holidays, not just Xmas) next year and in years to come, this will sell forever.
